It didn't use to be slave labor is what I'm saying. They were paid like Americans for the job. Now they are "illegal", farmers can pay them less for the same work. Because its cheaper, they will do that over hiring Americans. There didn't use to be a preference to hire a Mexican, now there is.

Before Reagan, Mexicans would come here to work. Then go back home. Seasonal workers paid taxes and used zero benefits. Reagan made them "illegal". Now they do not return for fear of not coming back. Now they can be paid less for their "illegal" status. Still don't use benefits OR pay taxes now.

Elon Musk was an illegal immigrant. He came here with a student visa, but then didn't schedule any classes. By lying on his immigration form makes him ineligible to be a citizen. So he should go back to Canada or South Africa or Russia since he likes their system so much. People are not illegal.

Do you think being Mexican American or Russian American is easier to spot and target? How many citizens of this country have been arrested for "looking like" an illegal? This effects Latin and Asian Americans the most. And by doing it quickly, they can't check properly. Get your head out of your ass
