I’ve spoken to people who are happy to see chaos- either it works and things improve, or it doesn’t and the other parties hear their concerns at last. Or it goes completely shit- but these people believe there is no way they could have a worse life than they do now.

Labours “tactic” for everything is minimal upheaval and work for growth.
The disaffected need things to get better for them. They need a change in the social contract. The continual decline in opportunity and hope is not the status quo they wish to maintain- which is what Labour offer

A large part of the potential “moderate” reform voters believe- as they did with Brexit- that it ain’t gonna make it worse for them and may even make it better so why not?
