He's a professional critic, he does have to watch movies coming out, even ones that he won't end up enjoying.

April Grove is the next game by Colorgrave, an indie dev co that I really love. Seems like it'll be a fairly chill almost incremental sort of game where you chop trees to get better at chopping trees? There'll be a free demo soon-ish.

It can be a fairly consuming hobby.
I think enjoyment goes up quite a bit if you have a friend-group that all play.

So, do we have any other info coming today, or is it just the one concept art?

RIP to Marty’s fantasy team.
(Though I believe he even said at the time, ‘This isn’t coming out this year’)

Did the game hit full release ir something? I think I remember you playing it ages ago.

Certainly on the armor, similar to his article on Dragonage Veilguard’s armor.

It’s certainly the one I have the most nostalgia for. Which is naturally probably because it was my first.
Honestly, probably a big reason why I connect with your guys’ games so much.

I’ve got Gen 2 music playing in my head now, so I’d say it’s effective.

These took me forever to figure out the puzzle, even after the game literally spelled it out for me.

Saruman’s, rather.

Very small, but the solo dev for Orb of Creation does Patreon.
(They’re planning on a 1.0 release of OoC this year, if all goes well!)

Boris Ursus himself!

They’re doing Gamecube games on NSO now, and showed off Wind Waker, so they might eventually add GC Twilight Princess?

How could a playwright possibly set a play in an Italian city that he had never been to?
(And then proceed to make basic mistakes about the geography of those Italian cities, but ignore all that!)

I thought I'd let you know, Red of Overly Sarcastic Productions gave you a shout-out on their most recent podcast episode, about your LoL design videos.
(They were discussing character designs in general and things they like to see in character designs)

Where do you think the plague came from?
Clan Pestilens is just warming up with the measles.

There’s a lot to be said for the traditional forum! I’m on a few old ones.
I like that they’re easy to search, and that you can actually catch up on a conversation rather than just only seeing the most recent posts.

I'd say the biggest danger seems more in the area of, 'fucking with voter registration' and similar. Depends on how targeted they can do it.

Out of curiosity- while obviously spear&shield was massively common in groups, but was it a common method of fighting solo?

Jiminy Cockthroats or Ghost Train Rides. (I believe the new God of Wars count as the latter, for example).

I’ll never deny anybody the right to just, not take joy in them anymore. I’ve seen plenty of comments from people saying they don’t think they can enjoy Gaiman’s works anymore.
I just object to the idea that ‘It was all hype, they were never good’ or anything like that.

That's been me on that- like, don't financially support her, I totally get that, and it's good to acknowledge the flaws.
But sometimes it seems like people are going 'The books were never actually any good', and I think they meant too much to too many people to believe that.

Oh sure, Chewie sweeps, I was just thinking of the main 3.

I wish the trilogy had been actually planned out. It felt like there was so much potential after TFA and then TLJ spent the whole time doing its own thing and then TRoS then immediately tried to pivot back on everything TLJ did
I don’t think it was any one movie’s fault, but god it didn’t work out

I suppose it’s because he is always focused on paying back Jabba, but at least in the context of the movies, you never really hear him saying anything about what he’d do with money apart from get rid of the noose around his neck?
Even in his novels, I feel like he only wants the Falcon and space?

I’m not sure Superman would be able to resist it well.
He has tremendous power, but he is also intensely aware that it’s still not enough to save everyone.
Batman… would either refuse it or fall pretty quickly.
Wonder Woman might last the longest?

Looking at Star Wars, is it fair to say that Leia would fall the hardest, then Luke, then Han?
Leia wants to make the galaxy better for everyone, Luke always felt like he should be out there doing something else, but I feel like Han mainly always just wanted to be able to keep what he had?

Didn’t come out this year by any means, but one of my favorite free indie games out there is this one called The Spirit Engine 2.
(There is no reason to play The Spirit Engine 1)
Sidescrolling RPG with a unique spin on battles, lovely art and music, great story.
