I'm not saying I agree with them. I disagree a lot in fact, and have been wishing for decades that we didn't rely on the US so much.

I can't speak for the US but in Canada, the reasons I heard from Canadian right wingers is that US companies will just stop doing business here or hire less if we do that.

It's the one good thing to come out of all of this. I know there are decent Americans of course and I feel sorry for them. The not-decent ones can get fucked en tabarnak.

I saw that earlier. I think cozy-horror is fine. It definitely piqued my curiosity and I just had to check it out. Sounds like a perfect marketing strategy to me π

Conservative men, perhaps. Fortunately, they don't represent all of us. I'm genuinely sorry you have to deal with that.

True though tbf you're probably more than ok if you have high physical stats. I did lose HP on the uncomfortable chair though so I guess that can kill you too.

I've been getting more here. Not that I had a ton either way π

I like www.codecks.io and it's free for broke indies like us

Oh god xD I love the guy but you're 100% right.

Indeed, tabarnak. Tbf, we don't want anything to do with them either.

Damn that looks good! What is it made in?

Oh wow. I was confused last night and thought we were Friday already. A bit early for screenshotsaturday!

I check out reviews mostly. I also like to watch gameplay trailers but I tend to avoid watching other people play (especially the beginning) because I don't want to ruin my first experience and/or get spoiled.

I think most people who use DS4 on PC probably do but it might not be the best tool to use if you want to test compatibility since it essentially emulates an Xbox controller.
comment in response to
post
Do you use DS4Windows? I think it fixes those issues with the DS4.

I use an 8bitdo ultimate controller. It's technically an Xbox Controller so it works great on PC but it has an oldschool Nintendo D-Pad so the D-Pad is actually good. It also has two back buttons if you're into that

I just want to add that while you're 100% right, enemies scaling with you is also a non-issue. Not saying that to argue but a friend of mine refuses to give the game a chance for this reason so it might seem a little off-putting to some but the game is very easy either way.

Too many things. Currently working on stairs actually taking you up and down floors (it's a 2D topdown) and it's a little more work than I initially thought π

Never played Loom but I just looked it up and I think I'll check it out sometime. Looks cool. Warcraft II and Diablo back then are the ones I remember the most. So much lore in there that they unded up reusing in later games.

Yeah, I think most gamers dislike gameplay interruptions (me included). If you can do without them, you should.

The best ones had cool art and lore in it. As a younger brother, I used to flip through them while my brothers played.

That's a pretty cool design! Great job π

Wait for real? I would have thought we were the most difficult to cheaply emulate. Thanks for pointing them out btw

Thank you so much πit was strangely difficult for me to put my writing out there even if it was for a goofy dialog like this π

I remember it taking me a lot longer than that but I did clear everything. I haven't played it again since the PS2 era but it's a great series. Especially the third game IMO.
comment in response to
post
I don't think length is the biggest issue with tutorials. IMO you want to stay away from walls of text and other interruptions. The best tutorial doesn't feel like a tutorial. In other words length doesn't matter if it's done well.

And not to mention Dave the diver was nominated for best indie game last year. We even have our spots taken by high budget titles from big companies because they have "indie aesthetics".

No worries. We are aware you're not all to blame for this. I have nothing but sympathy for all the decent americans that will have to deal with what's coming.

I agree. I find it extremely relaxing not having shit that pisses me off shoved in my face constantly. It's like old school Internet. I forgot what it was like.
