Sorry but I’m with @samsteindc.bsky.social. This isn’t “in response” to the Oval meeting. They had all of this pre-planned and ready to roll out. Trump and Vance instigated the Oval confrontation to justify it.

Got termination of probation employment email. I'm no longer a fed. Had to get some personal docs off laptop and decided to leave with a bang. Changed my outlook and teams away message to say, "I am out of the office permanently." Just tryin to make my snark guru @jamiebgolden.bsky.social proud.

14 months of civil service. 2 service awards for contributions to mission above and beyond my duty. Promotion of 2 GS levels at end of first year. Multiple planned projects to better serve our customers and assist our field staff in efficiency. But I'm still probationary, so none of that matters.
