They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

Marco Rubio, following Trump’s orders, halted an Agent Orange cleanup that was underway in Vietnam. That is putting hundreds of thousands of people at risk for poisoning.

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, but only if they pay me 5 million dollars for my instant-citizenship Gold Card.💰” -Comrade Krasnov #GrifterInChief

While the Russian Useful Idiot in the White House is busy claiming bullshit wartime authority to further his efforts destructing Democracy, just a reminder that everything he has said is a lie & everything that he says going forward will be a lie. As for his enablers, screw them.

I didn’t label these as a thread, but here’s a little 10-part thread on one explanation of the Cult of Trump’s behavior this past election - and how we can see parallels in the Jonestown Murder-Suicide.

GOV. WALZ IN IOWA: “This an issue of - do you stand with veterans? If you do, you should not have voted YES like your rep did to cut the VA. It’s that simple.”

I choose the latter. 🌹💪🏻🦋💙🇺🇸❤️

Solidarity protest in Washington DC right now. Notice how no one is trying to hang the VP, break into the Capital, kill cops, or overthrow the government.

Here's how you can help the bees As a bonus, working or playing in the dirt is great for calming the mind. Win-win🌺🦋

Guess who this is a description of! (It's not who you think).

1800 Tucsonans, including me, showed up this morning to legally and peacefully protest Tesla and to give Musk the double bird. We’ve been doing this for a month now and the protests are getting bigger every week.

Indeed.

Like Elon Musk?

Can you help me get 500 reposts on this post? I am going live on youtube on Friday. I am super pissed off what is happening in our party and want ro discuss Chuck Schumer and more with you. If you are not subscribed to my channel please consider doing so here: m.youtube.com/@adamparkhom...

America is *so* stupid.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable. Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes. Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

AOC on senate Dems caving and backing the CR: “A wide sense of betrayal.”

CALIFORNIA IS GOOD! BOTH SENATORS NO ON CLOTURE.

“If he’s so great, if these plans and all the fraud and abuse that he’s found are so eminent, why isn’t he here explaining it?” Larson demanded of Republicans. “You know why. Because he wants to privatize Social Security.”

Good.

The irony is that between DOGE and Trumps tariffs they’re endangering the anchor of a lot of American prosperity, which is centuries of political stability and rule of law which makes a place people want to put capital. None of these dweebs grasp that.

Maybe we can find the guy who was paid to take Trump’s SATs for him and make him president. Couldn’t get much worse.

Watching my 401K drop like a stone, as I’m sure many are, now is a perfect example why Social Security must be protected, and not privatized. It is also a great rebuttal against those who say people should just save on their own and invest in the market. How’d that work out in 1929?

Accurate.

Every lawyer should be required to read this. commons.stmarytx.edu/cgi/viewcont...

I founded and chair an "elite law firm" and we are not in retreat. I have spoken with many other "elite" firm leaders that are staffing up. What the WSJ means is large corporate law firms. Please do not confuse quality with cowardice.

That is exactly true.

We'll hold our own town halls all across America.

MEDIA ADVISORY: Congressman Al Green and Congresswoman Young Kim Pass the Taiwan Non-Discrimination Act Out of the House Financial Services Committee.

This is some excellent good trouble
