How do we know they are protesting? Maybe students are having a peaceful tour of the campus. He should recognize a peaceful tour, right? I mean, after all, didn't he encourage one on January 6?

This was a compelling read. The scene where the priest was tortured is seared into my mind...for many reasons, including the mercy. I can't imagine how hard that was to write!
