Privatization is always the endgame here: social security, Medicaid, federal buildings. The key is to privatize the profits, socialize the risk, and sell public goods back to the public. Have genius entrepreneurs run out of ideas for new businesses?

you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social You all had an opportunity to leave a mark, and you failed to take it. 🤬 If you leave this up to your constituents, we won’t have your back next election cycle. We are no longer the tolerant Left. You shouldn’t be either.

This is a great idea!

This morning, enjoy a strong #CupOfJoe courtesy of @algreen.house.gov! "I'll accept the punishment. It's worth it to let people know that there's some of us who are going to stand up" Rise up! Let’s get in some #GoodTrouble!

It comes down to one question: DO WE HAVE THE BACK OF THE MOST VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN OUR SOCIETY? We cannot just stand idly by while they economically murder tens of millions of our fellow Americans! Yes, read that again: economic murder, because that’s what it is!

Why didn’t the Dems walk out last night when Rep. Al Green was removed? What would Rep. John Lewis want you to do, @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social? #resist

Some presidents haven't responded to an economic downturn. Some failed to recover strongly. But it's genuinely impressive to engineer a depression from the Oval Office, so congratulations to Donald Trump, I guess. From Bob Kuttner: prospect.org/economy/2025...

I appreciated this excellent response, Sen. Slotkin— will rewatch this when I need a good pep talk #resist

Supporting #USPS with my stamp purchases today

@vittorinot.bsky.social and I have been noticing ‘breath of fresh air’ seems to be the go-to line when someone is unfit for office. Keep tracking it.

You can’t recruit quality educators as it is.

This is incredible to witness. Sen. Glenn Grothman checks his notes, so he obviously planned to say these things —yet delivers a masterclass in being completely out of touch. This is exactly what people mean when they say their representatives don’t get it. Cringe!

Um. I beg your pardon?

Outstanding article written by Sherrod Brown, former US senator from Ohio. Brown has always been and will always be an advocate for those who work, do the hard, dirty, hot, and unappreciated jobs. He has talked about the dignity of work for decades. I know that @connieschultz.bsky.social is proud!🩵💙

Well here we are

Sign up for LaLota’s virtual town hall Wednesday March 5 6 pm lalota.house.gov/townhall

Hey @nytimes.com Here’s some protesting to cover

The face of resistance. HUGE crowd at Tesla showroom today Manhattan. Arrests. The people are waking up. And they’re pissed. They chanted “Zelensky is a hero” and lots a Nazi stuff

NEW: Senator Marshall (R-KS) RUNS AWAY, fleeing his own town hall after being asked about DOGE firing Veterans. MAKE HIM GO VIRAL.

Ending the night with this. *Get your hankies* A D-Day veteran called a gracious and humbled Zelenskyy a hero.

Any media outlet hanging on to a shred of journalistic timber should televise these hearings.

We’re witnessing a Brexit-level instance of completely unnecessary economic destruction. A country that’s not hit by any shock, but simply chooses policy self-harm.

Well look at that— my comment in the NYT is a readers’ pick

217-215 Rep LaLota I’m looking at you 👎🏻

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries: "So let me be clear, House Democrats will not provide a single vote to this reckless Republican budget. Not one." Yassssssss!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The wages of the richest 1% have skyrocketed 182% since 1979.  Meanwhile, the wages of the bottom 90% have seen just 44% growth.  Trickle down economics was always a hoax.

Crockett: They have a Trump trifecta. So, if the government shuts down, it is going to be on Trump and his minions. It is not going to be on us because we weren't elected to gut social security, medicaid, medicare, and USAID. That's not what we campaigned on. So that's not what we're going to do.
