Aka no shitting on the product even if it's terrible or asking the reviewer to tone down his/her criticism, so they don't cause massive harm to the company's image/reputation.

Honestly 😂

I doubt they didn't bother to try it, but they are used to the regular aka Windows and are unwilling to learn or they just got scared off when their display wasn't scaling well or something.

Your moves and strategy also needs to be varied and this will make the combat more realistic. More importantly you can't wing the fight with subpar stats as every hit and dodge will have to count. It will probably deter long drawn-out fight's unless you're good enough to sustain the pressure.

No point aspiring to be a CGI or look like a game character (unrealistic expectations). What a time to be alive.

Rather extreme don't you think

Most of these issues are fundamental and sacrifices need to be made but it's to inform everyone on what decisions they are making and leave it to them. Thanks if you reached this far.

6. Defaulting: This links to no 1,2 and 4 of the downsides. The day you stop making the payments your access is gone and all your joy with it. Take too long and certain companies will even delete your account and everything in your library, your bookmarks, everything. Poof. Time to restart again.

5. Overload of choice: when there's so much to do then wither you end up wasting time or you just go straight to what you wanted to watch. I myself am guilty of this as well. A little bit of window shopping really does hurt.

4. Pricing: The pricing of these streaming services adds over time and with the way it is so fragmented it is hard to pick one, so you subscribe to them all and throw money in all directions eliminating any monetary savings you would've made.

3. You lose privacy: the streaming services or any subscription service you use have obscene amounts of data on you and probably know you more than you know yourself so they can keep you hooked on their offerings and also feed you Ads like there's no tomorrow and you'll still buy it.

2. You're at the mercy of the Service: The service you pay for can just decide to up and leave leaving you without your shows, books, documents or whatever else and there's nothing you can do about it. Or worse still they could delist certain offering that made you subscribe in the first place.

Now the DOWNSIDES: 1. No ownership of Goods/Services: Since you subscribe to stuff on demand you lose the ability to do whatever you what, whenever you want as is feasible. You also can't hand movies for example to a friend or family and password sharing is discouraged (Looking at you NETFLIX)

6 Service Support: For services especially streaming when you subscribe the company has more money to produce more shows and keep the service running and also subsidizes the cost for others as well

5. Sharing: With a subscription service you could share your device credentials to someone else and have them enjoy the service for a limited time before you collect it back maybe even pay for more users which will add a little bit of cost

4. Internet and Power: If I wanted to get a home server up and running so I can access it anywhere I would need to pay for a dedicated IP address and also to have the server running always will raise power bills and depending on where you live the threat of power outage could spoil your day

3. Backups: I know all the services I use I can't accidentally delete them in the case of a series or book I can just remove them from my library and re add them anytime I like with no fear of losing anything unless its google drive or something of the sort
comment in response to post
2. Ease of use: With a subscription service and internet I can get access to all my services on demand and use them anywhere even in Greenland with Starlink. I can't lug around discs or a 24TB HDD also it means all my devices can be smaller and more portable

I recently tried Snapchat on an old android 8 phone and it crippled it, took ages (like >20 seconds) to open so that is a prime example and Snapchat isn't going to stop adding features just so you can continue using your old device
comment in response to post
Also even the apps you use currently can get faster and open in less than a second in the future and for the same amount of money or less you can get a wonderful experience. Why would you give all that up
comment in response to post
plus its more work to support older platforms limiting what you can do with said software and frankly it's not worth the time and money. Chrome will cripple any < = 10-year-old pc with 4gb's of ram so your hopes of web apps are kind of out the window

Depends on your definition of permanent, if it's just the CPU, GPU and the internals sure you can keep them and find an OS that will work with them, but things like the screen gets upgraded imagine using a CRT now when 4K OLEDs exist

I believe we still haven't scratched the surface of what games could be or as I like to call them alternate worlds. Just checking DeviantArt shows me that there's infinitely more that can be made into games and more to come

4 & 5) Taste and Smell (We're still years away from this) Ngl I get vexed when I see some people say all someone would need is a 4070 or 4090 cause the graphics are good enough and barely getting 60 fps in Alan wake is good enough. We should be aiming for 8K 120fps native grpahics in alan wake

For me the things that must come together to generate a truly loveable world is 1. Sight (Graphics) 2. Sound (Audio) 3. Touch (not just holding a controller but fully able to use your limbs and to move around naturally in that world like you would in real life)
comment in response to post
For example if I play AC Blackflag I wonder what it would be like if we can almost transport our selves to that world and live as the character the way we do in real life. VR gaming has come closer bot some main barriers, the graphics, the controls, the world, the movement e.t.c
