At the end of an email thread I'm never sure if it's better to reply "thanks bye" or say nothing.
Now I can instead put an emoji reaction, which seems something in between ๐

it's also somewhat embarrassing that the latter is a subset of the former, as I use google search as calculator

However, something is controversial depending on who you ask. These are really not trivial problems to work on. I do understand why we default to be overly cautios on the most customer oriented UI we have for these models.

I totally agree and I do think Gemini is "too safe", on AI studio you can tweak safety settings, which is one of the reason I prefer it.

Also I would imagine these prompts should not have been flagged, it's likely this is just a bug that will be fixed.

I work at Google so I am much more familiar with Gemini AND I am in conflict of interest ๐

I highly recommend trying AI studio as it gives much more control (though you may need to enable things like Google search grounding on your own and lacks some deep integration with Google services.
See the same query there

(also given that you listed GPT-4o mini)

Congrats!!
Very random question from someone not really too deep on this stuff, but why did you compared it vs Gemma and not Gemini 1.5 Flash?

Shorts from channels I subscribe to are sometimes really nice.
Shorts from the regular feed are a black hole of burned time.

That's a surprising result that I cannot repro as I've been using YTM web app for hours / day in recent years with no problems ๐ค
iirc spotify also has a pure web client, does that work better for you?

Also YouTube is such a massive place these general discussions are a bit misleading as we are bucketing 1h of gameplay videos with 3 minute news segments

But 20% is not very few people at all (though it's also what your graph shows ๐
) and while probably dropping attention spans are the biggest cause there are also other factors e.g. ads at the end, people clicking on random videos in their home feed they are genuinely not interested in etc

Sorry but all you can say is that very few people watch THIS video fully ๐
Judging by the increase in length of videos in the last years I seriously doubt this is true in general.

Is this an effort to compete with Character AI? Now you can have fake relationships with LLMs without even having to change platform.

'โThe bottom line is, you canโt replace the guy who screams, โListen, this is dangerous,โโ with all the advanced AI technologies in the world,โ said Caspit, the Israeli journalist who has interviewed every living 8200 commander for his book.'

Not to mention the crazy amount of people working on/with LLMs for these huge companies we have in Europe.

Not as bad as the new Coinbase update, in which in tabbed screens I see the tab I selected and 30% of the tab I did not select ๐

A couple of things:
* I use a foldable and when I open the screen I **always** lose the post I was reading. It seems the app just warm starts again. This seems something that should work out of the box for native apps.
* Cold start feels slow.
Also the back / share buttons are iOS-like on Android

Yeah but then please write platform views.
You can tell bluesky is written with RN without checking GitHub, sadly.

Wow this looks so cute. I spent most of my childhood spamming the same move with Law in this game ๐
