Wondering how the most 'intelligent' primate is so susceptible to the projections of a few with questionable personality styles.
Mostly in a political context.

You’re right Pat, he should give us a reason to invite him over.

Yeah, I’m afraid you’re right about that.
Depressing.
However, the sooner we accept reality, the sooner we can actively dismantle this Trojan Horse.

I completely understand the sentiment, but I wonder whether the invitation may be key in persuading Trump to align more closely with the UK and our European counterparts.
It sounds petty, but these are new and rather weird times.

Threatening to shut down Ukrainian access to Starlink, whilst maintaining Russia’s, is as clear a signal as there can ever be, that the Trump administration is a Russian asset.
A European equivalent is well overdue.

"This decision by Apple is the regrettable consequence of the Home Office’s outrageous order attempting to force Apple to breach encryption. As a result, from today Apple’s UK customers are less safe and secure than they were yesterday.”

I think the US should prepare an emergency government.
The Ukraine issue will be the undoing of the Trump administration.
Even his most ardent Trump supporters are finding it difficult to defend his current position.

How bad things must have been for the American people, that the majority (albeit minuscule) voted for Trump, knowing (as we all did) that this is how things were going would play out.
The US economy grew during Biden’s term in office, yet the average American didn’t feel the benefit.

Couldn’t agree more.
The ‘right of innocent passage’ surely doesn’t apply to Russian navy vessels. Nor should it apply to illegal ‘dark fleet’ vessels masquerading as tankers.
I really wonder why, when we’ve witnessed the shenanigans in the Baltic, we should await the outcome of an investigation.

It’s just that the ‘we’ on this occasion, are fewer than the ‘they’.
It was they, who won the election.
Or perhaps more accurately, we, who lost it.

Badenoch cementing the demise of the Conservative Party.
By where else do they go? The new Labour Party occupy the space that was conservatism.
Wide open for a fresh entrant in our 2- party system.
Guess who the media will want to crown?
Clue: beer swilling fag smoker.
Utter car crash.

Just embarrassing.
So many more pressing items in current affairs.
This item should’ve featured way down on the schedule, if it should’ve appeared at all.
I’m sure it might important to those who wish to tarnish the governments reputation.
Makes me wonder who’s in charge of editorial..

The Conservatives haven’t been a serious party for a long time.
It’s a worry, our two party system, our people and our democracy relies on strong opposition.
A government with no opposition sounds a lot like the opposite of democracy.

Looking for a leader, strong and honest enough to help the electorate understand not just the value of immigrants, but their necessity for the future success of our country.
Also, to actually manage immigration.
It’d beat this performative cruelty aimed at appeasing the ‘less well educated’.

This is about what we know, or don’t know.
The most dangerous war is one that is being waged on all of us, information.

BYD sells more EVs globally than any other, largely due to value and quality of product.
Rather than compete (as is the supposed capitalist way), Musk does all he can to inhibit market access to BYD.
From entrepreneur to aspiring autocrat.

I think that could indeed be realistic. Trump wants resources and business opportunities.
He also wants to be the ‘biggest boy’ in the playground.
Working with Zelensky can help him to achieve all of the above.
Not sure helping putin can.

He may appear unhinged, but I think we underestimate him at our peril.

I’m didn’t buy the Brexit ‘proposition’ by or the Trump campaign (on either occasion), yet here we are.
I think we should take these prospects seriously.

Imagine holding a meeting to discuss the future of an invaded state with the invaders. Well, we don’t need to. Wow, just wow..
Before talks with anyone, Ukraine must first be given the support to win this war.
If the US can’t trusted to work in the interests of its allies, or its own..

Some claim that by applying existing knowledge to new problems, we can expedite the research process whilst cutting cost.
Or, perhaps there's opportunity to build on what was developed with what we now know.
Maybe it can't be patented, maybe it's more difficult to monetize..

It does beg the question then, why would Syria want to align themselves with russia?
Could they be choosing the lesser of two evils?
Could it be that that there's no interest coming from the West?
Might it be that they want distance from the state of Israel?

Interesting response from the new Syrian leadership.
General consensus in Western media suggests russia was unable to defend Assad.
Or, did russia choose not to defend Assad?

Sometimes, I feel like I've woken up in an episode of The Twighlight Zone (or Black Mirror for the less aged).
