I'm afraid this is where we're headed.

I think so!

Are you insane? The Trump regime is staging a coup. There should be absolutely no cooperation with them - no acknowledgement whatsoever that what they are doing is okay.

Oh, for fuckssake.

Same boat here. I grew up in upstate NY and decided Thanksgiving time to move back. I didn't expect, though, for things to move so fast. I'm scared costs are going to skyrocket before I can make the repairs I need to make and that the economy will crash before I can get the house on the market.

Please conduct a seminar for your colleagues in the House and Senate. They seem scared to stand up and fight back. It is absolutely essential! People will respect them more for standing up to MAGA.

It's all b.s. She's afraid if she removes Adams, she'll have to deal with Andrew Cuomo as mayor.

I need to go to confession for the outrageous number of times per day that I commit blasphemy. JFC

I hope this doesn't restart their probationary periods.
The incompetence is staggering.

This. I remember being labeled a TERF after I blindly responded on social media to a cartoon criticizing the women's march pussy hats and signs referencing female reproductive parts as exclusionary. I said something like biology matters, and all hell was unleashed.

Me too. We can't continue on this trajectory - something's going to break.

It can be torn up and replanted when he's gone.

Has anyone informed the president?

It's unreal. Completely absurd.

Totally. They are telling on themselves.

You noticed that too? Lol. It's haunting them.

I'm a little baffled by this comment. I feel like Jamie Raskin is always fighting the good fight.

Does the AG have to actually be licensed to practice?
comment in response to

I hear you, and agree, but Raskin isn't the right target. He's out there doing the work.

Business as usual for the Trump administration.

No, you are not a bad person. Evil has gotten a stronghold in this country.

That's really sad.

They're just haters. And they don't get it. I feel sorry for them. Our culture has just exploded in the past 10 years or so with more women and Black artists getting exposure - movies, TV, etc. There's a beautiful tapestry of art being made, and it's a blessing to those of us who can see it.

Definitely. Plus, it was great even if you didn't know the songs. I'm a 52 year old white woman. My daughter is into Kendrick and she played me some this past summer, and I've listened a little on my own, but Kendrick is great from the first exposure.

I think we need to normalize calling MAGA traitors.

It made me tear up. I'm GenX, and it's something I've kind of forgotten over the years. For the older, more evolved me, it hits different than learning it as a teenager. I can understand the greater implications - the effect on the Black community down through the generations. It's a gut punch.

Yeah, me too. AOC is on record saying he's really dumb. I think she's on to something.

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I like what she did with the rose garden. It was really disjointed and needed to be refreshed. (And yes, I understand the history and the significance, and horticulture blah blah blah.) It looks much better now.

Unless the Republicans in Congress wants to step up, which they clearly do not.

Please call too. It is said that they don't really read the emails. They definitely log calls.

Yes, it is. But, as you question, "who's going to enforce the law?"

So many pathetic responses here. Stand up and fight, people!

Exactly! I have the blood of God knows how many Revolutionary war soldiers coursing through my veins. Many of us do. We will not lie down for despots.

They damn well better!

This language is inciting insurrection. We need to start calling it out. These people know exactly what they are doing = they are not "confused" about how our system of government works.
comment in response to

Most the Republicans with any conviction, backbone, or love for our country quit the party years ago. The rest have been ostracized. In short - they aren't in Congress.

But they would be MAGA targets.
