I guess articles like this are suppose to make us feel good while our president Elon dismantles our government? Car sales are down everywhere as well. Maybe some of it is due to a tarnished reputation but Elon will survive. Us on the other hand....

I don't see too many democrats other than AOC that have much fight in them. She's got great communication skills and is tenacious as hell. She deserves a larger role.

I don’t think tweets saying that the price of eggs isn’t coming down while Trump dismantles democratic norms is going to cut it. Democrats need to hire someone like @amandacarpenter.bsky.social to show them how to run effective opposition.

I think the dems are a much broader coalition than the GOP, harder to keep together. There are some who expect 100 percent agreement for them to consider you on their side.

I’m all for having conservative voices on CNN but Scott Jennings bring nothing to the table, no new perspectives or anything except being a Trump partisan hack.

I don’t think they need hers or Susan Collins vote. GOP will gladly let a couple of members vote their conscience especially if it helps them with their constituents who are more moderate.

I use to block them on twitter. I’ve since given up.

I know! I even thought of putting something in my bio saying you’re wasting your time.

A witty response. Wish it were true but looks like the reply was crafted by two comedians and not Campbell's soup.

Starting after Jan 20 we’ll have the greatest economy ever known to man.

All the time. For me I have a habit of leaving out words. Lol

The MAGA plan is to get the 14th amendment reinterpreted by the current SC.The original purpose of birthright citizenship in the 14th was to give citizenship to the recently freed slaves. An 1898 case affirmed that the 14th covers anyone born in the states. But I am worried this SC sees it differently

Why I switched over to BBC as well. @cnn.com was talking about Biden and Pardons.

And the Marco Rubio and Tim Scotts of the world are getting their lunch money stolen every day.

Sadie knows how to get comfortable. Lol.

Looks a lot like our Sadie. We had her DNA done. Thought she was a border collie mix but had no border collie in her. Staffordshire terror, English setter, Rottweiler and toy poodle. lol

The way I see it is that Republicans like they often do created an untenable predicament and then cry a feaux outrage that Democrats are the ones breaking norms when Biden was essentially boxed into a corner. Did we expect him to let his son go to jail with a Trump led justice department & FBI?

Oh no. Sorry to hear. We lost our oldest dog to cancer about a month ago. She was just a few weeks from 12. It happened so fast...we found out she had cancer and then 17 days later she passed. It was so devastating. She was a member of the family. Heart ❤ goes out to you.

Not sure I would read to much into that. Gaetz was despised in Congress, and the vote for Majority Leader was a secret ballot. I hope you're right but not holding my breath that the GOP grows a spine.

Is it a constitutional crisis if all branches of government including the SC go along with Trump?

I know! I go back and forth. On the one hand we’ve been through worst times. But on the other we’ve never had such a fractured media landscape. I think we’ll be ok but we’ve crossed the rubicon so to speak. I don’t think we’re going to return to normalcy post Trump.

Part of the problem is the conservative echo chamber like Fox News, OAN et al. They don’t really adhere to any journalistic standards. We’re so fractured we don’t even agree on the same facts.

I think there’s a lot of misinformation. We live in a post truth world. We have been through worst times. I’m currently reading American Midnight about all the civil rights’ abuses under the espionage act during and after WW1. If anything the states will save us but it’s going to be a hellish 4 yrs

I think states will lead the resistance against a lawless federal government. Ironic that I, a Democrat, would champion states rights. Lol

Well for one we had a senator, Ernest Lundeen, whose speeches were written by an agent of Nazi Germany and distributed to his constituents. There were multiple groups with ties to fascism and Germany in America during the 30s, some that had made their way into our government.

Is this a parody account? Pretty hilarious. 🤪

A “stable genius” nonetheless. 🤔
