Day 12 of #BlackVinyl is this classic from Missy Elliot! Released in 2002, she dedicated “Under Construction” to Aaliyah, who had died the year before.

Ok time for some women here for #BlackVinyl and this is a perfect Sunday morning record. Alice Coltrane’s “Eternity” from 1976 is my pick for Day 10.

Could there have been some cuts to reduce spending and be more efficient? Sure - if done gradually and transparently. But this is a nuclear bomb hell-bent on weakening science and higher ed. It is so short-sighted and people will die as a result of this strategy.
