That was me everyday at work for 30 years! I was always looking for an excuse to do something else for lunch.

She's great in everything, so yeah, I'd give it a watch. As long as Musk didn't profit from it in any way.

Dropping Amazon is easier said than done, but I have certainly reduced my usage - a lot. For books, I now exclusively go to a brick and mortar store (B&N, but still).

OMG, these are hilarious! And from truly demented user interface designers.

That's such a good idea. I may do that too.

Quite gracious considering he knows full well the despicable reasons he is being removed.

Load up a first person shooter in god mode and go nuts for a while. That usually helps to dial it back a little!

No joke. My rep (Ken Calvert) hasn't held a town hall in at least 15 years. He never attends a potentially "unfriendly" venue.

Leopards were the only "biggie" we didn't see on our Tanzania safari last month. Wasn't for lack of looking though. Great photos! Thanks for sharing.

What people pay in taxes has nothing to do with government efficiency. There is obviously some other nefarious purpose for accessing such data. I would point out, that it is against the law for the IRS to disclose this information.

Don't put too much standing on dreams. They are just hallucinations you perceive as you brain sorts, remembers, and indexes. If the world is senseless, then you dreams will definitely be senseless too.

Great picture! I just returned for a trip to Tanzania. What a beautiful part of the world. This is the best photo I managed of a cheetah.

Is this post real? I don't have an account on TruthSocial to verify it, but this seems crazy even for the orange felon.

Stay safe, hydrated, and rested. I am in Tanzania after a (not so) fun 30 hours of travel. So I feel for you.

Roasting vegetables is super easy and highly underrated. Chop up, toss in olive oil and your favorite spices (salt and pepper, for example) and roast at 425° for 20-25 minutes on a cookie sheet. Squash, carrots, broccoli, sprouts, onions, etc

Sorry your experience is less than ideal. I assume a lot of people on BlueSky were directly impacted by her efforts to marginalize and criminalize the way they are; it wasn't politics to them. That tends to get the blood up.

Thinking back, when I played flight sims (Falcon 4.0 was a favorite), I was always using a joystick. So the mouse didn't matter much.

My brain would break if I inverted "Y". How did this inversion happen in the first place?
