The last time a dictator and Russia teamed up worked out pretty well for the world.

Read it! Loved it! Also Family Plot was great as well. Drowning House is the next up in the list!

Still remember playing a text adventure on a Texas Instruments computer in the early 80’s. Loved it. Got Zork for my C64 that Christmas. This thing would be awesome. And yes, Infocom is a must!

What I had was a Pong console, not the Pong game.

Way to go! Starting reading this back in ‘92. Awesome, deep world.

Have this in my Kindle library. Thanks for confirming I made a good choice! I’ll start it as soon as I’m done with Midnight in Chernobyl.

A game I’ve enjoyed is Generation Zero. Love that the dialogue is in Swedish. After a time, I saw reviews that it was only fairly received, if that. I’m still enjoying it!
And I still like Fallout 4!

Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes I’ll enjoy a game, then find out it has a bad review. Oh well. There are things I like in a game that others may not, and vice versa. In the end, reviews are an opinion, nothing more.

My first system was a pong. Had a plastic revolver for a target game. Went through Atari, NES, SNES, Sega, PC, Turbo Grafx, Playstation etc. I’ve found story can be more important. Plus a dose of nostalgia!

I still love playing the original Half-Life, Doom, Quake, etc. Games like Might & Magic 6 still suck me in. Story and substance is important as well!

I read this many years ago, before the movie came out. Though they differ, it’s one of the few times the book and movie were both excellent!

I’ve always felt ignorance was a very curable disease. It’s why I read so much. Now we’re choosing to deny our children the chance to escape its clutches? Disgusting. Indoctrination begins young.
