It’s even possible the Chinese government might be able to exploit the Tik Tok app on careless government officials’ phones. But since Musk has just shown Trump how powerfully social media can be used to subvert elections, I don’t think anyone in power cares about that anymore. I’d find a new app 🤷♀️

That’s…nearly every US politician. Those voices haven’t been silenced, just Americans ability to keep up with them via Tik Tok, and I’m really dubious that those of us more aware has made any kind of impact on those conflicts that would drive a shut down. Seems like a self important narrative.
