Yeah you can do code highlighting with fonts now so performance on web isn’t bad.

The disconnect is that I’m saying there less risk publishing the frontend code. There is still a risk yes but I believe the benefit outweighs the risk. A product value is the sum of its parts. Frontend is just one of everything needed to make the whole

The frontend of this app is fully open sourced. Yes anyone can fork it and emulate the backend but that also takes a lot of work. It’s less work just recreating it

I would go after the personal website market first then personal blog and then comments section. The idea is that everything should be part of the same network and is a blind spot for twitter
