It drives some people to buy a Google TV box and install Kodi so they can stream it. Not that I'm advocating anything illegal, of course 😉😉😉

I've just booked a booster for next week - before I travel to Spain - for my own safety, and the benefit of everyone else.

Ha ha, duly noted! (Although chopsticks look better on Instagram, lol 😆)

I made it myself once. Not an everyday sort of task, but by god it was bloody good! Have also had some in bars/restaurants in the south of Spain - but you're right, they store bough stuff just doesn't cut it.

In the not strict category, good rillettes from La Sarthe, or manteca colorá in Andalucía - but for real charcutería it has to be ibérico de bellota for me. There's a lot of bloody good stuff in Poland though, I just don't remember the names!

I've had fish boudin before, Louisiana style, so I'd be interested to see what Andalusian style is!

I've walked past that place a hundred times and never thought to pop in. It just doesn't look like it's going to be good - but I might have to revise that opinion!

That looks interesting!

I've been a Labour Party member almost as long as I've had a vote. I'm now on the cusp of tearing up my card and cancelling my direct debit. I'm so fucking angry with this lot!

I'm truly sick of it. I've been a Labour Party member for over 40 years, but I'm about to tear up my card and cancel my direct debit.

www.beerguild.co.uk/news/thornbr... This turmeric and ginger IPA was bloody delicious! I've also had chilli beers, tomato beer, jalapeno & lime - a good brewer can make the maddest of flavours work. Yes, even a tzatziki sour! I look forward to your review :-)

Nice. And my clematis. Stunning!

I've just had a mad idea. You could stuff them, stick two halves together again, roll them in panko and air fry them until crisp. Worth a try 😂
comment in response to post
The first one doesn't. And the second one could easily do without them. I meant them as starting points for inspiration, rather than recipes, really. I'm sure you could stuff egg whites with cream cheese, sobresada and marcona almonds, topped with salsa az - and it would be a success 😊

I'm slightly surprised he hasn't dropped Miley into midfield. It looks a bit unbalanced - but hey, EH knows better than me!

I love the new Juve badge. If we have to change, and I understand the reasoning, let's go bold and adopt something that will last for decades rather than need changing again in ten years. But reading the comments from the nay sayers here, that's probably too much for a lot of people.

Although my butcher says Galician is best (and it is fantastic) the very best steak I ever had was in Brittany, in a little restaurant overlooking the Golfe du Morbihan. Local beef, perfectly aged and perfectly cooked - I can still just about taste it now 😋

Tirana is a pretty cool city, and was remarkably cheap when we went there just before COVID. If you get the time to visit the cold war bunker, and the cable car (Dajti Ekspres) you won't be disappointed.

Dear god, that looks unnatural!

It amuses me more than it should that "I don't know" in Geordie sounds like "guess" in Spanish 😆
comment in response to post
As a Geordie who speaks a bit of Spanish, I have a very confusing/amusing internal dialogue happening right now 😆 Also, in recent experience, 1st Class food on LNER is absolutely fine these days.

I thought that the other day, although in truth, they've never been quite right since they were Smith's Square Crisps. Bloody PepsiCo 😥

Liverpool should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute after that shocking performance!
comment in response to post
I'm hoping there's enough pride and professionalism in that Liverpool team, they won't want to be embarrassed. As long as they don't lose at Stamford Bridge today, I'll be happy enough.
comment in response to post
I said before the game I'd take a point, as we don't have a great record down there. So job done. Definitely need to beat Chelsea at home next week though.

White villages, yes, beautiful. Here's one I took in Vejer de la frontera a couple of summers ago.

I've been to Barbate, and to Cadiz and Jerez numerous times, and concur. There's food every bit as good as in Basqueland, but at much more reasonable prices on the whole. Don't tell everyone though, we don't want to ruin it 😆

Ah, I forgot about that! Great beers, I'll have to pop in at some point over the long weekend.

I've read a bit about Sobremesa recently, but couldn't make it tonight. So I'd be interested to see what you think.

I'm just hoping you didn't take any in hand luggage 😂

The next station stop will be... What other sort of stops does a fucking train make?

I'm with you on camping! Also, eating outside Mercado Central in Málaga - the traffic fumes are appalling. But Sevilla has some quite pleasant terraces, away from the main through routes 😃

That's just the story of a miserable bloke who does everything wrong. Saddo.
