Putin couldn’t have dreamed up a better outcome, alienate our allies, gut federal institutions, fire qualified generals, wreck national security with drunk incompetent fools at the top, tank the economy and $ with tariff wars… all in just 4 months. And here we are. Coincidence?

Never forget

"Building a movement again required first aligning Democrats with a basic truth... the country is in a constitutional crisis that needs the opposition party to use every tool to block the Trump agenda" (That "..." is the author saying "at least in Indivisible's eyes." The people sent to El Salvador are being condemned to life sentences under brutal conditions for allegedly committing the *civil offense* of being in the United States illegally without ever being tried or convicted.

Destroy the country, buy the scraps for a nickel on the dollar.

Three years ago today, 21 lives—19 children and 2 teachers—were stolen in a classroom in Uvalde, Texas. 17 others were wounded. Our kids deserve better. We hold the survivors and their families in our hearts and in our commitment to end this violence.

Harvard is offering 558 free classes, including but not limited to "We the People: Civic Engagement in a Constitutional Democracy", "American Government: Constitutional Foundations", and "U.S. Political Institutions: Congress, Presidency, Courts, and Bureaucracy." Thank you Harvard!! 👏👏👏

“…somewhere in Cuba or Venezuela tonight, there are cells waiting. In some field, a backhoe is cutting a long, shallow trench, six feet wide. Soon, those cell doors will close with a final, ugly clang. Soon, those trenches will be filled with bodies, covered in quicklime.“ bit.ly/3H7Tjdv

“What you are feeling is the disconnect between seeing that systems are failing, that things aren’t working … and yet the institutions and the people in power just are, like, ignoring it and pretending everything is going to go on the way that it has.”

He got a REAL ID, is a citizen and was arrested and told his real id was fake. ICE is a disgrace.

So GUILTY until proven INNOCENT huh?....ICE is American Gestapo......

Trump stole 51,000 pages of Classified documents before he left office in 2021 and got away with it.

Lots of reasons to admire @brucespringsteen.net, and this new pro-democracy/anti-Trump EP is definitely up there. Great tunes and a powerful and patriotic message.

Harvard just flipped the switch. They’re not teaching you the Constitution for fun. They’re teaching it because your rights are being gutted in real time while you scroll memes and vote for your own executioners.

“It’s a lot easier to destroy a thing than to build a thing.”

Her law firm bent the knee to Donald Trump—so she quit. Now, she’s speaking out. Katie Phang has the scoop:

They lynched Allen Brooks—and sold postcards of it. 10,000 watched. Kids cheered. No one was charged. They called it justice. We call it genocide. Now they’re banning books so you never find out. 📚 ERASED tells the truth they fear. Read it before they erase that too: stan.store/gxldsociety/...

Naomi Tutu, daughter of the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu (and an Episcopal priest herself) fully addresses the lie at the heart of the claim of that white South Africans are “refugees.” Amplify her voice. www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb... www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

MSNBC's loss. @katiephang.bsky.social

Yes. Theft, larceny, robbery, a shakedown, pockets picked, purses snatched, wallets lifted, accounts pilfered, assets liquidated. A massive wealth transfer from the most vulnerable to the wealthiest.

I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?
