My impression has always been that the US wasn’t even considered an emerging global power until after this time period. Any wealth was still mostly owned/leveraged through Europeans

At best, AI could maybe be effective at identifying patterns in large well-defined data sets and verified outside AI. But current AI is effectively trying to integrate frequently dubious data across an expanding amorphous blob that is internet

With any data processing, starting with good source data is a necessity. AI operates under the assumption that you can logically sift through all possible input data (regardless of quality). You need learned experience from experts to find good input data. Finding good experts is a skill itself.

Also, that line of thinking is dismissive of single parent families of moderate size (3-4 kids). Do those situations require a level financial support and/or social support outside of the core family unit (extended family, friends, neighbors) that is well outside the norm? Sure, but it’s possible
