Is that kinda like when Elon said he needed H1B’s because Americans peasants were stupid, lazy and overpriced? Your outrage seems selective.

Well, what can be privatized can be nationalized in return.

Music has largely gotten commercialized. Homogenized, focus grouped, auto tuned, removed from an artist’s original vision into something where the lowest common denominator clones sell more copies so get the spotlight. Your analogy with TTRPG’s may be more apt than I previously gave credit!

Hang in there and enjoy!

Definitely the right move.

It’s temporary. Think how much further your money is going to go once the US government completes this speedrun to crash its own economy and we’re all broke down here.

That’s hard to say. I don’t think about it much but considering how much it bugs you there is some merit to it.

No, because I don’t spend my days worrying about what’s in other people’s pants. More than enough hair on fire losers out there to take care of that. I don’t need to pop on that bandwagon.

When I see Mr. Musk cuts his bloated rocket contracts then I’ll tell you that he’s doing this to cut waste and fraud. Until then, he’s a fraud and a criminal just like his president.

Considering that I pay more taxes than Trump and Tesla combined, I think I have every right to say whatever I want to so die mad about it. I’m sick of freeloaders of all stripes in particular the ones that are in charge right now.

Well the one thing they taught me is that I am free to deadname all I want.

Gamma World, 1981 even before D&D. 14 year old me calculated the product line was smaller and more in line with my disposable income. Had fun but should have bought D&D instead. Fixed it by asking for Moldvay BX that Christmas! Oh the Sears “Wish Book.” Amazon had nothing on it.

Mystara. Like old Trek the best parts are the best of the hobby while the worst parts are the worst. But you don’t have to use it all!

Actually I do not want the Linux userbase to grow at all. Adding throngs of ‘average users’ simply adds that profit motive driving the process of ‘enshittification’ we see everywhere else. Nope, obscure hobbyist desktops with a bit if a proficiency bar suit me just fine.

Good times! Of course what I got now is less cool looking but 100 times more capable. Better hardware…

Remember Enlightenment?

Thank you. Been using Linux as my primary desktop since 1996. Frankly I don’t want people thinking Linux is a viable desktop because a larger userbase leads to a profit motive and that has ruined Windows, Mac or every mobile OS you care to name. Obscure, hobbyist desktops have a lot of charm!

Lol you’re so wrong. He has the “concept of a solution” and that has been officially considered a valid plan. Man the next few years are gonna be dumb.

No, you don’t. You just want it to be true to justify some otherwise unjustifiable desires of yours.

Wrecking the current system might well be one of the ways to get universal coverage.

100% not my experience in the past decade. And it was a pain to switch over. But now? I don’t miss bloatware, spyware, the anti-virus software antics, subscription models, creating Matlab models and then needing it years later only to ask “the license is HOW MUCH?” To each their own.

I am bored with this phase of the game. Waiting a month for the “It’s not HIS fault” fun to come.
