His white maleness gives him special insight into what is and isn't true.

I can't help but think it's more about believing in a hierarchy of human ability, where straight white men are at the top. Therefore they should be at the top of any organizational hierarchy, too. We're the best humanity has to offer—putting anyone else in charge is illogical. Racism/eugenics.

You know who's completely not surprised by this? Transgenders.

Especially galling because the victims were picked BECAUSE they are such a small minority. It's the behavior of a bully.

Of course, we treat EVERYONE in prison like disposable sub-humans, so is this really much of an escalation? (Just rhetoric, folks. Their treatment of trans people is unforgivable.)

And those damn tea people! We should stick them all on some dreary, damp island! Oh, wait—

For what audience are they writing? Is there anyone who's undecided on the “GOP -> Nazi” proposal?

Congestion pricing could be a great microcosm issue. Most of the people opposed to it are the wealthy minority, while it's hugely popular among the majority working class. The Dems should start hammering it both as administration over-reach and as class-warfare.

I don't think the American electorate can distinguish between preventable and non-preventable deaths.

There are 3 parts to reporting on Trump's bogus claims of fraud. 1) Elon has been caught in lie after lie, & his "receipts" prove that he has no one competent to understand what they're looking at. 2) Trump's claims of fraud RELY ON HIS OWN COVID FRAUD PROBLEM. 3) He fired the guys who found it.

Once again, bsky needs an option to go private, not just delete posts or deactivate, like yesterday. More brigading is coming. The psyops are already here. There need to be more tools than just block, delete, stay silent.

Followed by a once-in-a-lifetime offer to solve all our problems with their AI systems.

I understand the point you're trying to make, but all I can think is, “Yep, they're going to normalize plane crashes.” They'll be selling us AI traffic controllers before the end of the year.

I recently subscribed to Paramount+ and am pleasantly surprised. Daily Show, LSSC, and old sitcoms like Cheers.
