I think I bought Delphi decals that aren't glowing, but I am considering do maybe build a second one at some point (or wait for a RG/MG Calibarn/Aerial to go all out on)

this is a noob question: What is their scale like? Does it fit within existing gunpla parameters or are they sized differently?

Ooohh I’m the wrong one to ask, I got it at the end of last year as a gift 🤣
Overall I would say it took me probably a week or so if you count all building days, but it’s definitely one of the most complex RGs I believe!

yeah I almost went thru a whole balancer by just building the rg hi-nu and using it on close to every part. Worth it tho

yeah I did hear that Bandais are not favored by many, I am excited to get to work with Delphi tho and it's good to hear that they are more stable!!

yeah I destroyed a couple of them like this as well. Softer is definitely not easy to use and I haven't mastered it yet either 🫠
we'll get there!

this would be so dope 👀 third gundam coming home??

I am explaining myself poorly. If I use Softer, I use it on top of the decal, not below it like I would use Setter. So I use Setter first always, and if I need more flexibility in the decal, I put Softer on top and work very carefully with a q-tip to manipulate the decal!

I don't use Softer at all for adhesion. I use Setter for adhesion 100% of the time. Softer only to get around harsh edges or if I want to meld the decal edges themselves into the model much cleaner, which I rarely do tho.
Softer makes the decals brittle in my small experience so I avoid it if I can

for the next two models I plan building (well rg unicorn is already built) I also ordered some delpi decals from SK... I have no experience with them or others than the rg hi-nu bandai ones, but a lot of people seem to like their quality the most

Depending on angle I also use Mr. Mark Softer to get around harsh edges.
Once dry I use matt spray finish, so there is just no chance they can come off :)

yeah it's the first time I used water slides in general.
I leave the decal in the water quite long, 30+ seconds usually, in the meantime I use a tiny drop of Mr. Mark Setter on the location where I put the decal, then I just place the decal and position it + dry it with a q-tip until I am happy!

it's impossible to find calibarn in europe right now, or at least one that ships... love that model so much!

nice balance of not going too stylized chibi and keeping the vibe of the original!

no worries, I would recommend watching a good review on it still on youtube maybe whenever you get the itch again, but I think unless you ABSOLUTELY need to play it, you can just wait for either a sale, or watch a playthru on youtube and get close to the same experience :)

Oh yeah forgot to mention it: the worst part about the game is the dungeons 100%
They are all just labyrinth-esque constructs. They got old really fast and they never really change it up. I was really disappointed and bored by the end of the game just by that…

But again, just my opinion on the game. It’s a good play, but in my opinion that’s about it.
I just don’t see the masterpiece in it as others do. But that’s fine by me, if we all liked the same thing the world would be pretty boring :)

The personas in this game are more classic jrpg inspired classes than a Pokémon style collect them all and upgrade them thing.
I personally prefer Persona much more, as the game feels more focused and directed, in Metaphor I feel like they tackled too much and it suffers a bit from it

In short: it’s less streamlined if you look at the gameplay loop imo, and the confidant system is straight up better and more clear.
But the dialogue really struggled at times and team members will constantly repeat themselves; also the story just isn’t original, very similar to many other jrpgs
