I definitely understand the box presence, although at his age he may still grow to provide more. I think his technical level is going to be high enough I have faith he would figure out the hold-up/outlet play side maybe in a similar style to Jesus.

It feels like there is quite a shortage of top end talent in the market at the moment. Prices seem so high for any striker with potential and it seems the chances of finding a good deal are low. If Nwaneri develops into a 9 I think that could be a massive part of helping this squad improve.

Over previous seasons what has he improved on and what have been his strong points leading up to now? Do you think Ekitike has a higher floor than Sesko?
comment in response to

This may be a silly question but as a casual observer it seems Sesko has been the next big thing for a while and I have only just had Ekitike pop onto my radar. Looking at these stats this seems counter intuitive. Is it due to Ekitike's recent form or has he always been the stat guys favorite?

I keep hearing people getting upset with Arteta but are there any managers out there that you think could have performed better with the squad this season given the challenges?
And can you see a route to a us winning the Prem without Odegaard contributing more from a goals perspective?

Warriors have been mediocre to bad for too long since the chip. it's a big swing with large variance just praying to make a difference in Curry's last few years

Sometimes I feel like the fans of the Prem need to make the business hurt financially before we will ever see an improvement in the refereeing quality. All this bad reffing does at the moment is drive engagement...

Agreed performed well, complaints about the refereeing are valid.

This is the best way of saying that just because we won doesn't mean that call wasn't terrible.

It won't get over turned because no one will want to admit that PGMOL were wrong there. Don't get any hopes up.

Honestly think there needs to be an inquiry into referees and their bias. Not just against Arsenal.

It just makes you feel helpless. In a game based on hope for entertainment it's the worst way to ruin the product.

We play by a different application of the rules with Oliver in charge. And VAR just back their friends everytime.

I always try to check my bias, I know I have it. But stats like that along with us always being the model used to showcase new rules at the start of seasons make me feel like it's just too clear that we face a different application of the rulebook to some clubs.

Nwaneri and MLK on clean up duty today. Almost working average jobs for their age 😂

"liberal" these days as portrayed by the main stream media is slowly sliding from centrist to center-right. All a means to justify and hide the far right ideologies that are becoming so commonplace

Honestly even a few more strikes on goal would be nice generally. We turn away from half shots and low percentage chances too often. Arteta would hate to admit it but we lack some chaos in the opposition box.

On a slightly related note, what is up with goal difference this season? Villa and forest have a very low goal difference (0 and 4) for their league positions.

Think the context of Liverpool and the contrast to city not being up to scratch this season makes it feel like we just miss timed a window to win the PL

He showed a glimpse of what he has been missing tonight. This performance gives you some hope that if his finishing comes back around to his usual (still below XG) he might help us get across the line with the fixture congestion at the moment.

This does go against the feeling around the club a bit. Definitely not the happiest I've seen Arsenal fans

It's so exciting to have such talented home grown youth starting to shine under Arteta, had been one of my biggest concern until this season.

How would you weigh the importance of the close game state vs the full game? Does the close game state correlate better to league position at the end of the season?
