This is offensive. Women have enough trouble just walking down the street, or at work. Should women also have to deal with this mentality when checking out current events? Or am I alone in this response? Please find me one image in all of Bluesky that shows a male in similar fashion.

Here is the well groomed, banal, self assured face of evil. He doesn't bat his eyes when he lies, but his feet are going at it.

Admitting to having made an error--especially a grave one that hurts people--is very hard for so many, esp. men. Many post WW2 Nazis preferred numbed dissociation to admitting culpability. And we are ALL culpable for parotting talking points L, and R, hurting all Americans. Thinking itself hurts.

so do that.

How about 2 boy or 2 girl caricatures kissing?

Whose eyes will open? How? We have cell phones. We can make short films. Hunger is a gradual thing, but we can show it, in short clips, over time. Document it. And share it. We can serve in food kitchens and deliver meals. We can collectively change this national travesty.

If I remember correctly T said we'd never need to vote again. It all kinda figures.

Nothing funny about hunger.

(cont'd) Perhaps this is simply a game of lethal attrition--at the very least it will severely disrupt people's lives. Or worse. I think most of us see this for what it is. But now what do we do about that? Not scrolling, not clucking our tongue. Something that changes how we all think about this.

Not all people of advanced age can drive, or work computers. Presently in my town many can walk to the SS office, even if there is a long wait. But now??

Simple answer. Male billionaire greed is driven by those little blue ED pills and pornography, leading to panic that they won't be able to buy high class (25 year old) hookers far into their nineties and then some. Not so with women. Now why is this and is this really such a secret?

We dont know, but we don't demand to know; our silence makes us complicit and culpable for America's campaign of pain aroun the world. Regardless who we voted for president.
comment in response to post
Us. We are culpable Americans regardless of our vote.

Yes, but hard to do if detained, etc. But we always have freedom of thought. And freedom of friendship, within that dialectic. Those two freedoms can take us far.

T is not a great mind at all. Being mystified by his "genius" only plays into his hands. Prisons are full of smart-asses and "deal" makers. Not much different, except that when you get many million$ handed to you in your youth, and you play the right "cards", you can avoid come-upance long-term.

And these days, masks (so essential for seniors, for example) make AI surveillance work that much harder. If he writes NO MASKS! in ALL CAPS we should pay attention. The Project 2025 conveyer belt chugging along will clarify what that means, soon.

Thank you, judge, for your courage.

I'm not pro-red meat diet, but a steady diet of bean curd and cream of wheat can blunt your teeth. The democrats need to grow teeth, and fast. Whatever happened to having a conscience? And it's strategic--I feel many will depart their constituent base if they stay so soft.

Do you know who Vera Rubin is? If yes, good on you. If no, learn about her work, and then ask yourself: why have I never heard of her, and are there other similarly magnificent women who have been likewise passed over? And then, perhaps, you may weep for their immense frustration.

Not a great con artist. Not all that able. Don't give him credit. It's not hard to be a con artist and a prestidigitator to undereducated, obtunded people. Reagan's cuts set up a swath of the population now 40-50 whose school programs (nutrition, Head Start etc) were cut, hard. Voila--Maga.

Quickly, quickly, come up with something we can say. "The freshman congressman has responded..."--translation--form e mails were sent. We all know.

er...the vote split was, if I recall correctly, near 50/50. They DO have more weapons. But we are way, way cooler. And our friendships are real.

The mind boggling brilliance of their economic strategy makes my head hurt. But glad to now I'll soon be RICH RICH RICH, as will we all. Whee! Maybe I'll be able to hold a dinner party with an egg main course! Like the RICH do.

All cohorts suffer, and suffer differently. Similar to covid the lives and growth of the very young, kids, adolescents, young adults, older adults, "seniors" are being upended. Everyone I see looks miserable or blithe and dissociated. Sad, no matter how you see it. Banding together does help though.

If the Republican leaders--or their loved ones-- develop cancer, they will be the first to say "why isn't there a cure, please fix this!" I hope they take this to heart. People aren't living long because they are superhuman--they are living long because of science. But do they wish us long life?

All roads lead to Rome and all shattered attention spans lead to Trump one way or another. The internet is a huge part of our reading problem--and the internet is a behavior issue (for us all).

The rich are not a sustainable cohort. Their predation and parasitism puts horrific pressure on all other's lives. Sort of a gangrene upon society. Only 750 billionaires in USA, and the smell tips us off. Detection and lifesaving surgery is straightforward.

Question--what do the Republicans mean when they laud free speech? What is up their sleeve?

We still have free speech but that may be short lived if "they" claim and redefine it--like they seized and redefined "woke" leaving us saying "but, but". Those that oppose MAGA's staggering brilliance must speak up, and share that widely amongst ourselves.

Well I guess he told us! NO MASKS because there never will be airborne viruses again (if you can't see them they aren't real), and also much easier for AI surveillance to ID you.

The right is constructing an absurdist re-definition of free speech--eg Trump's comment immediately after ejecting Green, RFK's "speech freedom", and Bezos crazy rules at WaPO. This is in preparation for harassment and speech control of citizens. We must think and SPEAK our way ahead of this.
