Strange that free marketeers don't push for abolishing the minimum wage. All this market manipulation must be a drag on the economy.

The personable guy who speaks clearly and directly about stuff that's actually of concern to intelligent (and not so intelligent) people? Really, it could happen?

This is almost as big a problem as the "administration" itself. The utter vacuousness of the news and public discourse. Every whim of these two imbeciles is treated as legitimate policy. It's exhausting.

That shut-up-and-vote-for-us shit is infuriating. It seems obvious to me that mainstream Dems hate and fear the left far more than they do the right. It's counter-productive, because the left will vote for them as long as they don't support the right.

This should be obvious. There are no immigrant moms.

Cassettes rule. A technological marvel. They still sound better than mp3s.

He's had a truly inspiring political career. Did it on his own terms. Yet most liberals seem to think he's a charlatan.

Don't get me wrong - we're not here to save the world. That's not what I'm trying to say. Our job in darkness then is to be a moment of reprieve, a ray of light, a well-earned distraction. Our job then is to remind people of joy, of fun, of one of the cornerstones of our humanity.

This is exactly right. His motivation is and always has been vengeance. He seeks it out, antagonizes people so he can exact it.
(I think you mean to say "unimaginable.")

We had problems with the first dishwasher (leak detection switch, long story). When the problem persisted, the company replaced it at no charge, under the 1-year warranty. They seem to have eliminated some design quirks, and the new one works great.

One minor but illustrative example is Windows Explorer. Where it used to show the folder structure of your machine and a few recently opened files, it now shows a long list of files and some random folders, in no particular order. You have to open c: and start clicking. Maddening.
