I'm surprised he wasn't the one that this pose originated from💗

Honestly I (thankfully) never had a problem that wasn't solved eventually and was left hanging with no response - Hope you eventually get what you paid for or at least a partial or complete refund for it
Its not your fault as a commissioner that the artist lost interest to work on what you paid for

This type of behavior also hurts the community a lot;
Artist doesn't deliver for commissioner, commissioner gets burned and moves away from the community, taking away opportunity and work from other artists; or make the commissioner stop going for less popular artists in fear of being burned again.

Personally I wouldn't just keep quiet about this, especially if I didn't get an update for -years-
In the end it is disposable income, yes, but just because its disposable doesn't mean I don't care about what I do with it.

But if they're actively working on new stuff and actively ignoring you then thats something completely different; Or if they are actively online shitposting and can't be arsed to give you a small situation update thats disrespectful as hell.

Had situations where stuff I commissioned just got stuck for a year in the artist's work pipeline because of organization issues and I wasn't the type to request updates; stuff like that can happen for personal issues or whatever else is going on.

If you didn't get your money back I feel like this shouldn't be a dilemma
The entire furry art community is based on trust, if the artist built his reputation just to take the money and run away when he thinks he can get away with I'd like very much to know who these people are so I can avoid them.
