I saw a wrapper for one of these floating next to me in the sea at Gwangan once. Had to laugh seeing Jaws. Now I should have taken a clue that I was in the part of the beach the currents push all he bullshit to, but I was green to ocean swimming. I ended up getting stung by a likely dead jellyfish.

The status icons look good. I wonder how the game does multiple statuses. In the original they cycled and it was sometimes a little easy to miss one.

The updated visuals look great. The old game was a little vague when targeting, especially on maps where the green kind of blended in and obscured the geometry. The sprite update too a light hand and the color palette is nice and gentle.

The UI changes look nice. Old FFT pros knew how to check the AT list (archers and dragoons sucked if you didn't), but it was cumbersome. Having it integrated is nice, and if the one on the side previews charge durations, it will be amazing.

I missed the whole usenet phase and came in on the AOL boom. I distinctly remember trolling Geoshitties for grainy screencaps of my favorite shows. They were interlaced jpegs so you had to let them load slightly to figure out if the whole image was worth the wait.

This, but half the board is techrot infected, the goal has hps, and finishing rounds gives powerups like shooting effervon out of the airholes to make the techrot recede.

Slams are weird. How do you make them good to do sometimes without them becoming the one and only thing to do all the time? Heavy attacks are in a similar place. Basically, how did we get to a combo system that is, by default, best to circumvent?
