I mean, were we not going to get a pro-genocide president anyway? If we define fascism as whether or not a country supports Isreal then you are kinda just asserting my point here. Because other countries besides just the US provided aid to Isreal throughout the entire time the UK Canada Germany etc.

I am not offended It's more along the lines of contextualizing the problem The entire "western world" has been experiencing a surge in fascism. Look at France look at Canada. In this election Harris received roughly the same number of votes as Biden It was the youth of America that voted for Trump

He only one by one percent of the vote and it's not just America with a fascist problem. The biggest issue is that children and young adults are getting red pilled through the internet because most of the largest content creators are fucking fascists.

To be fair, didn't we buy into that narrative for like a decade from Conservative propagandists like Charlie Kirk, Candance Owens, Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, Alex Jones. And more recently streamers like Asmongold and Pippa? We Americans dropped let a lot of fascistic sentiment propagate.

That guy is right. It's one of the problems with Americans. It reminds me of conservatives championing the freedom of Speach. It wasn't because they support it ethically. They use it as a shield to spread their bullshit. We've allowed losers to create a Generation of losers.

Which is the part about morality that is not subjective. Hence why I said morality is not subjective. It's relative. Because yes, people come together and agree on things that are normatively correct.

That's what is being asserted when someone claims that morality is subjective. For example. Back to the Nazis. They knew what they were doing was wrong, but they viewed as a necessary evil.

Uh, guy never says that in the video either. He is just a philosophy teacher.

The guy not a Christan nationalist. You are getting him confused with someone else.

Okay, I found a video that I think will help you understand the problem with what you are saying. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vjl... around the 11-minute mark it goes into the problem. To summarize the problem though, people can't have a disagreement if Morality is as subjective as you are saying.

I did. A moral authority requires a belief that morality is subjective because morality varies from person to person and cannot referenced without an individual or set of individuals. A moral authority may require that descriptive morality at least approximate morality in the normative sense.

It is moral subjectivity because it involves putting into question the morality of something that is already a moral norm. Someone comes along and basically says I never agreed to this thing is how Moral subjectivity works for better or worse. Often time usually the worse.

Attack you, what are you talking about? I am not attacking. I am demonstrating how moral subjectivity was important to the rise people like Hitler and the Nazis. It's literally why the Jewish question is called the Jewish question.

So, here comes a guy that says actually morality is subjective and it's okay to be racist. We never universally agreed that it's bad to be racist even though we did.

It's not as different of a process as you think it is. All it takes is just one person to validate a thing you believe. Germany was bitter about the outcome of WW1 and blamed the Jewish. But only so much antisemitism was acceptable to express within Germany at the time.

The thing is it's not like Nazi came out of the gate saying the things they did. They had to warm people up to it. They had to normalize it. To do this they people have to assert that morality is subject on some level.

The relative ease with which antisemitic policy was accepted after 1933 suggests that many Germans did not see Nazism’s particularist morality as so far removed from general ethical standards that would have created cognitive dissonance. This is something Mann wrote about himself.

How authoritarians usually rise to power is by saying that the system is broken because of a moral failing. So, we need to get rid of the system and establish a new moral authority. That's how most fascist rise to power.

The thing is bad people are usually the ones who argue that morality is subjective.

I think you are misunderstanding what subjective means. Saying a person has individual beliefs and feelings about morality doesn't mean morality is subjective. Because moral norms exist, we've decided to tolerate different moral behaviors regarding morality that are different from our own.

I don't think that is a bad idea, but the political party that puts that into law would be committing political suicide. I hope I don't get in trouble for the use of the word suicide in this context.

Morality is not subjective. Subjective is someone's personal beliefs or feelings. If most people agree on what is moral and not, then it's not subjective. However, morality is relativistic. In summary, moral relativism argues that morality isn't a universal truth, irrespective of human behaviors.
