What ARE the rules for
Green card holders? Are they different than for citizens? If not we are all in trouble.

We are hard workers.
We are money earners.
We are leaders of countries.
We teach others and learn from them.
We still earn less than men in comparable positions.

I gave it a go. The lies and gloating were sickening. One less viewer tonight.

Exactly how will national and international assessment programs be sent “back” to the states? These and other data collection functions of the Dept of Ed are crucial to understanding how schools operate and how well or poorly students are faring. Does the administration NOT want this information?

My former program would love more US students. The presence of international students is NOT keeping US students out.

A key assumption made here seems to be that pre-registration “really” represents quality. Soyeon Ahn and I (psycnet.apa.org/record/2011-...) showed that using quality weighting leads to bias in many cases with more sophisticated weights than simple dummy variables. I urge caution.

So it’s probably time for someone who doesn’t like what he is hearing to try to shut them down….

Can you point me to some specifics on this?

Oh of COURSE… who would need an office that “is your first contact for services and information” (from web)? Or that deals with program delivery issues…. Good grief. More of the same….

No but here is what has happened: college and uni profs have been told to take DEI out of their syllabi and classrooms. Programs related to DEI such as women’s studies deleted. DEI committees disbanded. Guess where? It’s the exact opposite of your query.

Agree this is questionable. Also note that minimum sample size cutoffs have foolishly been used in social science meta-analyses for ages. Not necessary as small studies are generally downweighted anyway….
