Hoyas on Peacock today. How's everyone feeling about this Peacock experiment?

John Fetterman’s staff are leaving him in droves and there are awful rumors about how he treats them. Are we sure he’s not just three Kyrsten Sinemas sitting on each other’s shoulders in a hoodie? Our latest:

True story: a few years ago, I was being interviewed by a reporter for the New York Times. I mentioned the history of eviction statutes and how they tied into Jim Crow. The reporter asked "what's Jim Crow?" When I explained, the reporter didn't believe me and said the US wouldn't do that.

Has anyone written a good piece on the Fetterman heel turn?

Imagine if the entire DC media was reporting on Musk and Trump with the *ferocity* and *velocity* of WIRED these past three weeks. IMAGINE what we would know now that we don’t.

Oops 😬

The men carrying out Musk's coup are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran. Make them famous. And, eventually, when possible, arrest them and charge them with multiple felonies. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

Butler-Georgetown

There is simply no plausible argument that the president has the constitutional authority to refuse to spend appropriated funds because he doesn’t like how the money is being spent. The legality of policy impoundments is just not a close question.

Anyone an expert in coffee futures and prices, that could comment on the impact of a 25 PCT tariff on Columbia on the price of coffee for American consumers ?

The folks obsessively posting about egg prices for the past few years have gone strangely quiet just as egg prices hit an all-time high.

The “free speech defenders,” ladies and gentlemen.

I would spend more time here if there were significantly more sports content.

Ignore the inauguration on January 20, and honour the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on MLK Day instead. #BlackLivesMatter

The South Koreans are better at this than we are.

Georgetown basketball is on its way back.

Who are the sports figures worth following here?

this urge to launder rfk jr. as “just a guy who is right about a few things” is such a perfect example of how liberals are people who won’t take their own side in a fight

I still don't understand how Michigan lost to Washington Illinois, and Indiana.

A new low for the people of Ohio.

@alexkirshner.com Who gets more shit from their fans for wilting under pressure, James Franklin or Ryan Day?

We have to accept that James Franklin is who his record is in big games. It hurts, but it's true.

The #CFBPlayoff hasn't devalued bowl games. That started when they got away from traditional matchups, sponsors started changing frequently, and they created too many. For 1990-91, there were 19 bowls. In the 2000-01 season, there were 25. This season, there will be 47.

We don't talk enough about the brilliance of Garbage.

A bunch of these guys went to his Pittsburgh rally. You hate to see it.

The Big Ten needs USC, Washington, and Nebraska to get back to their winning ways. That's the only way they surpass the SEC in reputation.
