That makes sense in theory. I also don’t think Schneider is going to spend draft capital for an already-highly-paid o lineman that needs a new contract and is presumably getting old. Not really his MO.

Bad’s his word not mine. If we want to trade for a big contract, that’s great! But teams generally don’t move good players with big contracts because the point of winning football games is retaining good players while they are good.
