A useful word that isn’t used enough is “democide.” Democide is the mass murder of a demographic group who are not a racial or ethnic group (“genocide.”) So for example the mass murder of queer or disabled people is democide. It can be a helpful word to disambiguate when both are taking place.

The IPCC says it’s unequivocal that humans are responsible for global heating and our GHG emissions are responsible for 100% of the recent warming. Preindustrial atmospheric CO₂ was ~280 ppm and now it’s >420 ppm, so we’re responsible for 33% of what’s in the atmosphere (not 3%).

Ottawa Police moved in yesterday to remove peaceful pro-Palestinian protestors from in front of Parliament Hill. The "Freedom Convoy" occupied Ottawa for 3 weeks while Ottawa Police stood by. Palestinian protesters got 5 hours before arrests. Must have been the lack of bouncy castles.
