It is irresponsible of Oregon Zoo to continue breeding elephants, as they have lost so many to EEHV and KNOW the risks facing this little one! EEHV is an elephant form of herpes that is fatal to calves and extremely painful. They are not contributing to any herd, just their own pocketbooks!
