Hope you're showing these to your colleagues who think ending a social media subscription could danger people in an emergency who are only capable of going to one place to check for information.

Perhaps the trucks burning as much fuel while they idle while workers toss in these wrappers as the energy we'd get from burning the wrappers at the end of the line. Would be great to have more collection sites at frequented places. (2/2)

I feel for the recycling companies for not wanting to pickup this stuff. They'd need a whole other compartment in their trucks. Wrappers would fly everywhere on windy days. And isn't this plastic just being burned for energy anyway? (1/2)

I don't get the emergency preparedness concern. Tweet once a month for four months that the account will be closing. Anyone actually following will know. Then in an emergency, people will find the new alert service. It'll be in the TC. It'll be widely announced. In an emergency people pay attention!

You're not allowed to swim in my new pool. You liked an anti-pool post of mine not realizing I was being sarcastic. The leadership of this city are doing fantastic at doing an impossible job. I'm happy they are focusing on the future and not the chronically critical.

Yeah I totally agree. I think we should wait until the absolute perfect plan that doesn't cost us a dime just falls in our lap before we attempt to invest in the current generation.

Trudeau is still a giant dink. But he's at least handy when you need a punchy press conference. I will have more appreciation for him now but he still needs to be shown the door.

Yup, you're for sure in. I don't think US can, or would, ever get rid of gay marriage. But there's still a hundred other reasons to move. I made a video explaining the process: youtu.be/v6FBbIdFp4s

Not only are they needed but the process for getting in is actually really straightforward and essentially guaranteed. I'm happy to answer questions about the permanent residency process!

I don't think I'm the end the debt ceiling gives anyone leverage. It always just comes down to "do you want to be responsible for destroying the economy forever?" And the other side eventually says "nope!"

The Fed is outspoken that they are intentionally trying to make it more difficult to afford a home, borrow money, and get a job. It's the only way to roll back the inflation (that they helped to cause).

Except I am kinda willing to help let them get rid of the debt ceiling altogether. Would be worth it just to see the superclip of all these right wingers fuming at raising the debt ceiling and then voting to get rid of it entirely.
