Way less funny when we install one of those in the White House...

He's so fucking stupid. Resiliency is a core aspect of national security. Stopping work on hardening our grid, decentralization of electricity, and other related measures are key climate change aspects that the military has been seeking for decades. Makes the evil worse when they're stupid with it.

When we all start dropping dead from bovine asbestos and the plague due to lack of surveillance I'm sure they'll find a way to blame Obama.

I'd be tempted to start introducing people like the Potato from the Louisiana Purchase territory or the Corn from the correct Native American name of Iowa.

Who else would be a willing shield for him?

Sucks, but looks like the judge doesn't think they have standing. Not a statement on the merits, simply a statement on the qualifications of the plaintiffs.

All I can think about is The Net. Planes crashing, whistleblowers being chased down. That movie was not meant to be instructional.

I think this administration would prefer Borscht. Throw a few meatballs in there and they'll have my vote.

Awesome, can't wait to really get into it!

Thank you! Pretty excited about it.

It's the later. They know who these people are. They just don't care. Clinging to power is far more important than actually doing their jobs.

Honestly, to what end? Klobuchar preaching about bipartisanship, Booker saying he doesn't have a mandate to oppose Trump... We have two parties-the fascists and the people who are sacrificing us for power while pretending to care about human rights. Wake me up when the Ds care about people again.

I think that 10% number is a fantasy too. As is the savings, since I'm guessing they'll quickly find the need to replace the border patrol officers who take them up on it.

Whose god? Because my people's tends to send plagues and shit when he gets mad... I'd rather not upset him any further. Last time we got COVID, not looking forward to locusts.

Isn't Booker up in '26? Because he's making some choices right now...

Jesus took one look at the swasticars on offer and noped out.

The fact that @aoc.bsky.social is the only one saying anything is the epitome of the problem. Where are the senior leaders, who've said nothing about the Mazi fiasco? Booker saying he doesn't have a mandate to stand up to Trump, especially given the election cycle? Lame. So so lame.

Dear dem leadership, If your plan is to sit on your thumbs and hope things get so bad that people might vote for you again, you'll get run out of town. The oligarchs are playing for keeps. Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, or get out of the way and let others take the helm.

Looks like our main exports to Colombia are oil, corn and soy. Leopards, meet faces.

In the grand scheme of crazy, I'd say this is maybe a 5. Shows a lack of understanding of trade, may or may not be ineffective, but not the craziest thing he's done. We have to grade him on the Trump crazy scale because the presidential crazy scale would just constantly register him at a 10.

Unauthorized guy with a gun tries to walk into a school, you shoot them. The end.

Why doesn't he tell his billionaire buddies that own 80% of California's water rights to hand them over, then?

Sigh, I guess people have to pick their battles. I too would settle on RFK if that meant not having to deal with Russian agents.

Yeah, that's about the 3 in 10 that voted for Trump. These stats aren't meaningful because the reality is something like 4 in 10 DGAF enough to even show up.

Fetterman voted against, despite saying some dumb things on the subject. On the other hand, folks from Iowa who should know better need to seriously evaluate themselves and their hypocrisy.

A gal can dream. Wonder what would happen if these fires were in Silicon Valley instead. The dems won't defund FEMA for the same reason Booker is walking around saying he doesn't have a mandate to oppose Trump. There isn't a change agent among them and all they want is to keep their jobs.

Going to be fun when every single democrat refuses to pay federal taxes. After the IRS job cuts, good luck enforcing that

I sincerely hope that folks who vote for him, especially folks like Joni, who should know better, are visited on their deathbeds by all of the women who will be harmed as a result of his appointment.

Aww, are they so sad that the guy who stabs everyone in the back stabbed them in the back too? Maybe don't sign up for being the leopard's stooge if you don't want it to eat your face.

Yeah, the farmer with the Trump sign freaking out that 65% of his staff didn't show up gets nothing but pointing and laughing from me.

Or another good one, that it's a holdover of the Democrats that Trump just can't fix. You know why Trump was so successful? It's because he let people's worst selves out. And while I'm not advocating that approach to the Democrats, I'm also not going to go around berating them for normal feelings.

Who's getting all their stuff at Costco from now on?

I can see a colorable argument that shooting someone who's coughing in your vicinity is in self defense.

Young men, 18 to 29, voted 56% in favor of Trump. That would be of those that bothered to turn out, given the low turnout rates of that age demographic. So I sincerely hope you're right, but you'll definitely have an uphill battle in front of you!

Never mind, three times! Now I must learn the differences in subcategories of the lobster roll.

I object to the lobster roll being on there twice. Take the initial W and leave room for more awesome sandwiches.

Because he doesn't. He really really doesn't. Which is why everything will cost substantially more in the next few months than it ever has.

I mean, how else are we supposed to figure out what kind if snacks we want. Which is to say I'm also not allowed to go to the grocery store. 🤣
