What's the best strategy for any player on either tribe (assuming one exists) who is not an agent of chaos? Is Myles on to something with his "I will do nothing"? Is it possible to stay under the radar with these people? It seems riskier than on seasons where there are more logical players.

#ShowMeYourKnits is a great feed - lots of great projects and finished objects to checkk out. I love your purple yarn!

That's such a cheerful idea! I bet you smile whenever you pop something in there.

So. Many. Nurses. What is up with that?

This is such an easy fix and so annoying and damaging. My trans kid's university let them use a preferred name for most things, but all their awards and honour roll mentions are in their birth name. It makes every grad school application about being trans, for one thing.

Silk Road spices in Calgary has a few Canadian options for bitters, plus they are just a fantastic store with a great online service. Tofino distillery have some great gins that you might need. Rose Hibiscus is my favourite.

I highly recommend the BBC show Gardner's World for practical advice on all things gardening. They have a lot of down to earth advice about growing food, interspersed with delightful people who are really deeply into niches like "I have 1000 iris types" or "my tiny backyard has 57 potato plants".

I get 90% of my work for the day between 8 and 9:30. Once we get to morning tea, it's downhill all the way.

Bastards! My kid punched one in the literal face last year. This year, I tried squirrel-proof netting and piles of chili powder, but I think the face-punching was actually key.

You might ask: were the posts at least good? No they were not.

You know all Dems responding to your accurate advice with the Homer Simpson groan. "Be genuine" is too hard. T

Her recipes are great. The strawberry cake is amazing.

I love WifeGuy! He wears an apron backwards like a cape, and rubber gloves, and swoops in to deal with your disorganized household and makes cookies before he leaves.

Aw, poor Smudge! Mr Knightley had that same expensive issue in November, but he's doing fabulously well now on the new regime of expensive cat food and not letting his companion cat eat all his food.

I like the one who looks like they are entirely over this mansplaining.

There are a couple of Pratchett books I would LOVE to read again for the first time, so if you haven't read them, I envy you.

When you were on that Slate podcast you had a bunch of 50 year old man opinions about parenting, so I don't think you can just blame other people.

Oh, I am sad about this. I was trying recently to get a copy of Small World for my kid who is in grad school, and couldn't get a copy in print. That's such a great book.

Good riddance! I loved seeing all of the ones people posted. They were really cool and interesting. Of course, the dino one is the best.

I think you have to go with your gut - if it doesn't look right to you, you won't be happy with the finished object. I just had a restart experience with the slipover I am working on - I tried 3 times and it was still looking wrong so I restarted on a smaller needle and presto!

I think people definitely have limits on their emotional bandwidth, and sometimes there's catharsis in reading a book that destroys you emotionally, and sometimes you just can't. I do know that some of those "hard" books stick with me in ways that echo, even if I don't want to re-read them.

Last Christmas my brother sent me fancy chocolate with experimental flavours, including stuff like turmeric. It was not a good thyme.

I feel like this story has been being written since I was a youth and now I am old enough to be a grandma, and can we just move on, please.

You're only trapped because you feel trapped. You just have to realize you can walk away. You have to love a classic "the cards are telling you to do the thing you know you need to do, but you don't want to do the thing".
