Thank you, I’ll have plenty! I used to crochet a long time ago and just started knitting a few weeks ago.
It’s been a great way to stop doomscrolling and reflect 😌
I’ve finished a Sophie scarf and have started a sweater. (I’m waiting for more purple yarn & am casting on a new cardigan as I wait 🫣)

Knitting has been my long time escape from doom scrolling!
Doom-scrolling 0, Gift afghans 150
😎✌️♥️
Are they done as you knit or added later?
So cool!
It goes on an odd number of stitches. I cast on 19 stitches for 4 tulips.

I can't remember which exact one it was, but those books were filled with knitting patterns I never thought were possible, roses were probably in there.
Chart symbols are universal - no need to be able to read Japanese.

Keep up good work. Anything you can do to coach your fellow DNC members to fight and communicate like you do?
I’m knitting a cardigan with Malabrigo Rios (superwash Merino) in the “purple mystery” color way.
Working on the left sleeve currently
Yarn therapy.
I grew up in Evanston by the way. I go there to see family a couple of times a year

Happy knitting 🧶
I love the plum colored yarn here. Beautiful stitching. Picking up the yarn and hook is one of the few things that calm me down lately.
We're all just trying to get through this fallen world together.
😅
Thank you for continuing to fight the good fight. You are a true leader.

Crocheting or knitting, along with an audiobook, is a great way to avoid doom scrolling. 🧶
I started knitting recently, too, and it's a great way to get away from the doomscrolling. I'm glad that you have something relaxing and reflective to do - many of us need that right now, and you more than most.
