The Manhattan US Attorney’s letter refusing to drop charges against Eric Adams is an extraordinary act of patriotism. Trump’s directive to drop these charges — reserving the right to refile them — is pure corruption. If the charges are dropped, Adams will effectively work for Trump, not New Yorkers
