Meditative, compassionate, and with a subtle air of whimsy. This film makes me cry in several spots and is emblematic of the warm side of Lynch that’s always there if you read between the lines. One of his best!

Imho, it’s his best directing from a visual standpoint. He sets up numerous “rules” and consistently follows them throughout the story. Everything feels deliberate and storyboarded…much like a comic book would be 😉

We discovered “Deserted Station” directed by Alireza Raisian and to be honest…it’s a totally hidden masterpiece of cinema. Nobody saw it and it’s such a beautiful film.
