I just wish that the Democrats could have raised this kind of heat during the Presidential campaign: where was the fire then?

The publicity for 'Brian and Margaret' makes me imagine how forensically Brian Walden would have taken her apart. She would have been exposed in a manner that no present day interviewer seems willing, or able, to do.

The word she requires is 'quotation': 'quote' is a verb. And there isn't a quotation 'in it', either: she is quoting from the film (reminds me of the theatregoer who complained that 'Hamlet' was 'full of quotes'). This is the kind of shit that middling 17 year olds write in English essays.

The proposal will cause outrage in Aberdeenshire, where the 60 limit is routinely ignored. The potential for greater safety won't sell it to the many A96 users who want to spaff billions on duelling Aberdeen to Inverness for reasons of, er, safety.

What a surprise that someone in this position is showing such colossal ignorance of what happens daily in state schools across the country.

SVU is notorious for this: Wait a minute, you're saying the abuser was actually the shy school janitor played by Meryl Streep?
