I agree with this for the most part, but I will say that Rise of the Tomb Raider is the best story in the Reboot trilogy. Mainly because it is very much Lara in her prime, fighting and exploring on pretty much her own accord. It's the closest to "I play for sport" Lara that we got, and it was great!

For some reason this morning, I was reminded of the Zillions magazine. If you don't remember this, it was essentially Consumer Reports for kids and teens that was released in the early 90s. It was a weird thing, but at least it taught me the difference/benefits of alkaline vs rechargeable batteries.

I've reviewed a lot of indie games over the past few years. Even those I found to be the worst still tried to bring something unique to the table. Great ones left me in awe or their background music was stuck in my head. Gen AI games can't do that. They don't have a creative voice behind them.
