going to need to start hearing from governors what they intend to do to protect residents of their states from the federal government

We're not in a constitutional crisis in the US anymore. It's a constitutional disintegration now.

Several of the country’s largest LGBTQ Pride celebrations have lost major sponsors — including Anheuser-Busch, Comcast, Diageo and Nissan — to the tune of $200,000 to $350,000 per event. For @nbcnews.com: www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-...

Found out one of my PS2 controllers fell on the floor and massively fucked it up. Casing's cracked really bad, and one of the vibration motors came loose. That sucks, because I really loved that controller. It's one of those official see through blue ones that came out in the 00s.

It's also free to keep on GOG for 48 hours as well. I highly recommend this game.

0.000% of Communism has been built. Evil child-murdering billionaires still rule the world with a shit-eating grin. All he has managed to do is make himself *sad*. He is starting to suspect Kras Mazov *fucked him over* personally with his socio-economic theory.

wow look at all of these better alternatives to Adobe that exist ask me about Pixelart programs if interested in that aspect specifically because you *definitely* don't need PS for that, lol

Kona, and its sequel, are definitely games that can evoke this particular feeling.

Tim Cook is no longer Tim Cooked. Trump folds again by excluding smartphones, PC monitors, SSDs, processors and other computer related parts. However, there is NO exception for video game consoles. Video game consoles are still subject to the tariffs.

Game Boy give us a hand!

Couldn't really play it much, but I played the soundtrack on this disc a lot!

Very informative chart from Washington Post

I agree with this for the most part, but I will say that Rise of the Tomb Raider is the best story in the Reboot trilogy. Mainly because it is very much Lara in her prime, fighting and exploring on pretty much her own accord. It's the closest to "I play for sport" Lara that we got, and it was great!

For some reason this morning, I was reminded of the Zillions magazine. If you don't remember this, it was essentially Consumer Reports for kids and teens that was released in the early 90s. It was a weird thing, but at least it taught me the difference/benefits of alkaline vs rechargeable batteries.

My kiddo is looking for support to get books for his class. And he's crushing it so far! If you'd like to help, see below! I'll even pay cute kid photo tax for looking...

One of the topics I'm trying to tackle in this book I've been writing intermittently on: trying to explain the newness of the internet to a younger generation that sees it as a given. Also, how common VHS piracy was lmao.

It’s amazing that things like cutting FDA funding are never framed as, “I think private companies should be able to profit from having you literally eat shit and you shouldn’t be able to do anything about it”

This is essentially tech industries, like Meta, trying to turn everything else into a second screen experience. Scroll endlessly on Meta while you passively consume a movie in the background. A movie only asks you to watch it. You can't really absorb a film by being on your phone during it.

Forgot how much a wrist roller could kick my ass.

South of Midnight represents a group that’s so rarely seen in gaming with a black girl as the lead character. I want to make sure that black girls and women get the chance to play this—so if that’s you or someone you know? Send me a DM and we’ll make that happen! (Limiting this to 10 copies.)

An exploration of what was on the first PlayStation demo disc to hit the USA. Music to capture the vibe as you waited for the consoles release and some tech demo eye candy once it did.

This legitimately breaks my heart. I had a friend who died from SCA when she was only 16. More research is desperately needed for this illness, so that other families don't suffer.

One thing people need to understand is that the US could literally just work together with China and create a better world for everyone with abundance. It’s precisely because the US wants to maintain its hegemony and does not want other countries to develop that we’re in this mess.

The hard truth is that there are some products you just can't make in America. These must be imported from elsewhere. Like chocolates, for example. American workers will always become overwhelmed by the speed of the conveyor belt. They'll end up shoving the sweets into their mouths and blouses
