Pro tip for anyone who can grow facial hair, even light amount of stubble can cause a bad seal. Follow CDC and Firefighting guidelines. Do not attempt to use the vaseline trick. Either shave it off or don't wear a mask.

I think ragebaiting the president into committing economic suicide is funny in a depressing kinda way, but yeah this taco shit was funny for maybe 3 hours. Dems know how to take a joke and beat it to death quickly.

I know that firefighter is doing his job on Aerial, but the pic of him, hands on his hips like "Welp" is so funny to me

Someone in a discord server I'm in posted a tweet with this image and it said, "this is what posting on bluesky is like." and while its true, I'll take this over 100 bots and "@grok is this true"s.

Dogs are a bit different, they are allow to smell your car and its not considered a search. Also international borders are a bit different yee

If you found out tomorrow a 8 mag earthquake was gonna hit your city, only for it to be a 4 mag, you'd feel a lot better about it than if you just got told a 4 mag was hitting you tomorrow Ain't rational but neither is the markets. They see it as "he is willing to make deals".

Now, if you are witness to a crime (just a witness, no involvement) you can later be compelled to speak as a witness, but only if you are supeaned
comment in response to post
The 5th states you cannot be forced to be witness against yourself (aka, you cannot be forced to testify against yourself) If a police officer asked you a question, you are free to walk away or say nothing. If you are under arrest, you are free to plead the 5th.

We could get into the nitty gritty (I'm not a lawyer tho) but yes. Its one of those "it can't hurt you, only help you". You can never be punished for pleading the 5th (depending, speak to a lawyer) But you can be punished for not speaking. So always say it

Dont attempt to stop the officer. Let them conduct their search. Just clearly say you do not consent to a search. What that does is remove the defense of "consent to be searched" from the officer. Any evidence found (depending) could be barred from being used against you (again depending)
comment in response to post
Another thing. If an officer searches your belongings(trunk, bags, ect) respectfully but firmly say "I do not consent to a search" They can 100% search your car if its a safety sweep, or frisk you, or if its in plain view, but regardless. If they search anything, for any reason, say above

I also meant in the sense that there are some cases where 'silence = pleading the 5th' but to be safe always verbalize, but yes, try not to piss off the people with the ability to make your life a lot worse. Its not complying, its simply stating your rights, firmly but respectfully
comment in response to post
Depends, but to lean on the safe side, always verbally say you are evoking your right to counsel/pleading the 5th/refuse to answer anymore questions

If you cannot afford an attorney, you will be provided with one , and public defenders work outside the cops ect. They are pretty trustworthy, but be aware
