Classic dyslexia. Drove my driving instructor crazy. He said turn right, I went left. Got it from my father who wasn't very good at marching while in the army. My sister also had it. A good friend of hers told her up or down, the direction to push the car's turn signal lever before a turn.

Finally, someone is on to the truth. Deep rooted misogyny + a big dose of racism. Harris lost to a convicted felon, con artist and compulsive liar. That's deep rooted racism and misogyny.

My eye doctor's office is a large group practice. One waiting area is very brightly lit. I commented on it being uncomfortable. Now they have me wait in an area with dimmer lighting.

"Tried"13 different SSRIs before wiseing up and specifically requesting an SNRI. Amazing improvement since I have a dopamine and norepinephrine deficiency. If you are neurodivergent keep this in mind. I'm a retired mental health professional (LCSW) and MDs over focus on SSRIs.

Former US Senator Rick Santorum (R), "Smart people will not vote for us." In a nutshell, the reason Republicans are anti education.

University of Washington Autism Center has found that people who read and study, and self-diagnose are usually correct. This info is easily checked on the web. Check it out yourself.

We, neurodivergents need to always remember this and refuse to take on the socially deficient label. We are just wired differently. Race, sex, sexual orientation and such are also just differences. It's time to push back against this discrimination. Organize and push back.

I once got called out because I really was listening, with my eyes closed and head down.

My insurance copay on a prescription was $140. Same prescription at Cost Plus is $38 and change, without insurance. Set up an account and have your doctor transmit your prescriptions to Cost Plus.

Not to add to the confusion but social rules for autistics are different than neurotypicals of either sex. Screw it all and just be yourself. It's your life, your rules. You changed gender, the rest is pocket change

If that doesn't prove I'm autistic nothing will. It only took several minutes and reading all the comments to get it. Duh

I use the headphones when my rational brain says do anything to get moving. Music helps overcome the exhaustion. Doesn't always work but it works a good part of the time and that's a definite improvement.

That was required reading my senior year in high school. No one, not even the valedictorian completed the assignment. After the first line it was down hill at lightning speed.

The reason for all of the late diagnosis of ASD is that the criteria for the diagnosis was rewritten in 2013. ASD as it is defined currently didn't exist until 12 years ago. The changes in the diagnosis include a lot more people.

They're full of crap. I have a Master's degree, earned in two years at a highly rated private university while I worked a full time job and I have ADHD and I'm autistic. That was two years of unbroken hyperfocus. I did it because of the ADHD.

Trump will make them up, give them to Musk, who will fuck it up spectacularly. Trump will then spin the failure as a win and all his syncophants will be awed.

I'm so happy you brought this up. I noticed things started but not finished drop off my to do list. I get things partially done, get interrupted and my brain checks them as done.

When my mother died I found my baby book. She wrote about my walking and talking. When I first walked, I stood up and walked across the room. First sentence was, "I want a drink of water." I never did the wa wa thing. Even now I don't do things until I get the whole process.

Saying Republicans and criminals in the same sentence is redundant.
