Formerly Republican ticket-splitter descendant of Texas Scalawags. I haven’t voted for a single GOP since they announced they’d crater the nation to make Obama a one-term president. Architect, archaeologist, autism dad.

Tourism. Trump loves tourists.

The best thing now would be for the court to demand immediate proof of life, then make the AG and Sec State responsible for preserving his life.

Facilitate does not sound like a word that should be used in a court order to the Trump administration. Mister Loophole will take "Facilitate" to mean when you get a chance. You are hereby ordered to return the person forthwith. No bullshit!

Trump is systematically destroying all American centers of excellence: military, international alliances, CDC, FDA, DOJ, FBI, intelligence, higher ed, economy, global leadership, US Dollar as reserve currency, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid. He’s smashing everything in this country that works.

"a martius" should read "unserious." Damned demonic autocorrect!

As none received due process, ALL are innocent in the eyes of the law and ALL must be returned and given access to counsel and the courts.

Tragedy has befallen him! How else would you describe being kidnapped, trafficked, and thrown into a concentration camp? May he suffer no further tragedies.

The Trump pump & dumpers certainly are. They’re feathering their nests with our 401Ks.

“Must facilitate.” Facilitate ≠ Return.

Yes, Teddy was a certified non-moron, and likely Hawley’s ghost writer as well.

Facilitate≠Return

That would require that he never really crashed the economy.

That looks like the golden-egg goose shat on his lapel.

Gov. Newsom should deputize Apple's Steve Cook to conduct a sting. Negotiate a bribe with Trump, pay the bribe, thank Trump for his personal intervention on Apple's behalf, discuss how best to monetize their internal knowledge of the market rise on announcement of the deal, and record it all.

Murdoch's citizenship should be summarily revoked and he should be sent to El Salvador. It's the only way to get Fox to accurately explain and defend due process.

RFK, Jr is not an "anti-vax conspiracy theorist." His authority as Sec. HHS makes him an anti-vax conspirator. His policies, the termination of research, the systematic purge of scientific experts & expertise, and the wanton destruction of public health institutions are no longer theoretical.

She’s an unserious person appointed and confirmed by a martius people to do unserious work with devastatingly serious consequences. It’s the “work” she was appointed to do.

The 90 day pause is just an extortion effectuation period—and we’ve still got by far the highest tariffs of any rich nation.

One exception: whenever they say Trump “wants to” do or has “considered” doing something truly heinous

I find myself musing about the first episode of Designated Survivor, then I recall who is in the present cabinet of horrors.

Jeffries should debate a guy in a chicken suit who draws random GOP talking points from a brown paper bag, just like Mikey would have done.

Congrats, sir! You’ve made the very best of the best enemies!

What sort of speaker system would it take to drown out the military bands with "Do You Hear the People Sing?" and a Randy Rainbow medley?

Has Neal Katyal dared to show his face since caving to Trump?

Easier said than done. A friend is stuck with a Model X he can’t sell or trade in for anywhere near what he still owes. You can’t even leave a Tesla unlocked with the keys in the ignition to get it stolen.

No allowance for clean energy advocates who bought Teslas before Musk’s metastasis?

Thanks for correcting my brain fart. With Alex as matriarch, Spencer could leave a greater legacy in legend than seems possible in life—the mythic figure no real Dutton can match.

Why manipulate the market if you're not cashing in on every EO-induced fluctuation?

1923 FINALE SPOILER ALERT! The finale would have set up a more interesting storyline if Alex had survived leaving her, Cara, and Emma to secure the Dutton ranch and legacy.

No. I'm in the same boat. I saw one episode of Yellowstone from a recent season and hated the characters and the storyline. It seemed to lack all the qualities of character, writing, and cinematography that I love in 1883 and 1923.
