If intelligence extends beyond planets (e.g., AI, post-biological minds, or panpsychic systems), then it becomes a universal noosphere—a network of cognition spanning dimensions.

The noosphere is an emergent, self-aware manifestation of this data layer, particularly where intelligence and meaning arise.

It’s an interesting experiment.
Shame at the cost.

I can’t help but think this plays into the national consciousness as much as it draws from the national consciousness.
The aspiration of being super rich is an American thing much more than in the U.K. where most folks “know their place”.
I’m probably wrong but I see a memething there.

When I was growing up, my mum would watch two types of soap opera.
Eastenders/Coronation Street - the sad lives of the working class with their insecurities and infidelities.
Dallas/Dynasty - the sad lives of the super rich with their insecurities and infidelities.
One British, One American.

I think they hope to be singled out for their loyalty, elevated. Or they like being on the winning side - like they contribute to the win by proxy. Their billionaire cargo-cults just reveal their aching need for guidance.

Nothing stopping you. But you have to go all-in.

The difference between Apple AI and (other brands) is that if you don’t summon it to act, it does fuck all.
This is obviously its biggest detriment to twitchy shareholders and Apple Nerds who want it to take over their lives. It literally does nothing.
I forget it’s there most of the time.

I looked her up and she’s married to … wait … you!
That gives me a big dumb smile, you big cheesy galoot.
Best wishes for happiness all the way from Europe.

Driven me straight into the arms of new characters and indie producers, I might add.

On of my favourite lines from Bats is “a fitting end for Doctor Death”. From the first story I believe.
I’m probably more bothered about the status quo in comics. It’s what’s driven me away from them. I don’t need another retelling of an origin or the dramas of these seeming immortal mortals.

With long running characters, like Cap or Bats, that’s challenging. Bats started out killing criminals and was reigned in by the comics code. Now there’s a retcon that he doesn’t kill
When the creator is long dead, we can’t even ask them
But we all probably have our preferred runs for this reason
