I live in WV. My children are on Medicaid bc my 35 year old husband died due to medical mal practice (currently in settlement phase) and we have been through enough trauma to last a lifetime, literally. This is incredibly triggering for me and I will fight this bullshit until my last breath.

There are several drug classes and treatments for mental illness that have been consistently, scientifically shown to be effective, but where they still can’t totally figure out why. They don’t have the brain totally figured out yet. I can’t afford to care about anything but effectiveness & safety.

I know my personal experience is not how science gets settled, but I’d be on the streets - maybe dead - without the antipsychotic/mood stabilizers I’ve taken to this point.
