Genius! How did you come up with that!?

Man, c'mon- this guy is a total piker. He just crumpled on tariffs at the first sign of resistance. All of this is totally illegal and unconstitutional. The man is scared to death of his own voters- he is afraid of everything. He never gets punched- notice that? He spins. I say stand up.

I have everything at stake- we all do, not just the teachers. Admin too. In my state, a state that just approved a constitutional abortion right, upon Dobbs, the majority of abortion providers bailed, citing "liability;" there was none. Just folding up against lawlessness makes no sense.

Really? So your principal tells you to take a black history month poster down and you say no. What then? You're fired? No, think it through, man. You lose your federal money? This is the literal definition of a free speech issue. The President putting prior restraints on speech. DOE is gone!

Sorry DOE

Tell me please- why did they "have to" remove these things? If their boss (principal?) told them to, "just say no," (Nancy Reagan) eh? Perhaps a conversation would ensue? What is at stake in declining to bow to threats? If a location decides this is educational, well? DEA gone, right?

The answer is poetry- the form can be more immediate than a novel. Whatever tone you want!

You're not being a jerk, not at all, I'm engaging on content. It's not that it's wholly fake- it's a vehicle for corporate accumulation with no benefit to the user and it is horribly environmentally costly (externalized costs)- costs not accounted for. Ref. Pigou, Qrtrly J Ec., 1913, re trains.

I just see it as more Wizard of Oz bs to be blunt. It's mixed with capitalist incentives and as Marx argued in Das Captital, the main characteristic, qualitatively, of the capitalist mode of production is a group of mystifications- I see "AI" as yet another of these. No use to me- high costs.

To continue- consider the cosmological homogeneity principle. If true, what homogeneities are we talking about? Not each point is identical, and yet there is this homogeneity (an inhomogeneous cosmos is not cognate). Again, what are these cosmic samenesses? Therein lies a path to knowing reality.

Well, knowledge exists, I would so stipulate, and inasmuch as that is the case, one could also assert with some confidence that it would include at least some reality (truth). The mere fact that false knowledge exists doesn't make true knowledge impossible/unknowable. That's how I see it, for now.

Lol, somehow not a comfort

Read my earlier post- I think it's a scam. Having said that, it does turn the phone into a useful knowledge confirmer, which is a bit scary, at the same time creates efficiencies in getting answers without having to click links. Generative is not my cup-o-chai.

Eh, not going to pay for that.
